I like that stealth is encouraged in the sense that it's quicker to kill off an unsuspecting opponent rather than fight in a drawn out battle, like with the Gekkos .

Bc Im a huge MGS fan. Ive purchased MGS1, 2 and 3, three times already. MGS4 twice is in line with that. Im hoping there is something extra in this and its the "Subsistence" version of the game. If so, Id get that over buying it as DLC if they brought that to the original

I've been wondering when they'd be coming out with the "substance/subsistence" iteration of MGS4...but one could almost argue that Metal Gear Rising Revengance is MGS4 Subsistence...kinda. And I'll take it, that game looks fun as hell!

"almost" and "kinda" are the operative words here. Revengence allows people to play as a character they wanted to try out in MGS4. They created new levels in MGS 2 Substance so you could play more as solid snake...that's basically the only comparison

A "Substance/Subsistence" MGS4 would be the original game with added content and the ability to play as other characters. Not an entirely original game. It's like saying MGS4 is a revamped MGS2: Substance.

The GameStop-exclusive skin (for now, anyway) is modeled after the Cyborg Ninja suit worn by Frank Jaeger (AKA Gray Fox) in the original Metal Gear Solid. Not only does the ensemble have nostalgia going for it, there's also the benefit of not being able to see Raiden's face for an entire video game – you know, in case you've seen enough of Raiden's skin to last a lifetime.

Exactly. Rising is in no way shape or form MGS4's "Substance" style re-release

Sorry, but MGR is a new original game. No way shape or form is it a 'substance/subsistance' version of MGS4.
