The hardest boss for the BBE is probably Crying Wolf, simply because of the damn FROGS littered around the screen making it impossible not to get seen/heard.

So was Screaming Mantis really possessed by Psycho Mantis or was it just nano-machines again?

I turned on my NV googles and hid under a truck. Was able to snipe the Frogs without being seen until Crying Wolf popped her head up. It takes a while, but it's an easy way to not be caught.

I've heard of that method, though I've always been a little time-conscious. I guess that's silly, seeing as I did my latest BBE in 3:40.

So damn sweet.

Has it been confirmed when this game takes place? I was reading the Metal Gear Database last night and am curious how close we are getting to the Outer Heaven Uprising event.

Someone in the credits spotted something the EG guys quickly edited: "Kojima showed footage of him infiltrating an army base and meeting a mysterious disfigured man. Together, the pair negotiate the release of the young Chico..."

Also, I wonder to what extent the game will have to load, as said in the article? Another downer on MGS4 is that it loads after pretty much everything. Between areas, cutscenes, chapters, always asking you to press start in between. No other MG has done that.

I'm guessing/hoping the loading takes place while you're in the helicopter heading to a new area.

I'd say about 25 years previous to the uprising.

I finished MGS4 a few hours ago for the first time since I originally played it. A while back I saw someone on another board describe the game succinctly and perfectly in a way that also sums up my feelings about the game: "Metal Gear Solid 4 is what you get when the best game ever and the worst game ever hit in a head-on collision".

Metal Gear Rising Cancelled for Xbox 360 in Japan

Today, Konami announced that the Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been slashed, cut, and cancelled. Only the PS3 version will be released in Japan.

The studio apologized to those gamers looking forward to the Xbox 360 version, but did not give a reason as to why it had been canned.

No word on how this impacts the Western release of the game.

Update: Konami tells Eurogamer that Rising will still be released on Xbox 360 in the West.
