Okay, who is he and where does he come from?

Madder Red is the main character of Nick Spencer's new Image book Bedlam.

Basically, he was The Joker of his universe. A sick, twisted villain who killed thousands. I don't want to spoil anything but something happened, and Bedlam is the story of his trying to go straight and redeem himself.
Great art, writing, pacing... the woiks.

Nick Spencer... first Morning Glories, now this. Why is this guy not more famous?!

It's a new Image book I might try soon. From Comic Vine:

"Luther is your typical nerd, scrawny, clumsy, has glasses and is a target for bullies. Luther lives with his very timid mother (who seems terrified by the outside world, possibly due to an abusive relationship) and he has one best friend, Pete, who is also into comic books and video games as well as a nerd. Luther's new life started with a book. Desperate to finally get some respect, girls and get the bullies off his back he ordered "The Hercules Method." His miracle book instructs the reader to: "...focus the mind, body and spirit towards one goal. By bring all three into alignment, the physical enthusiast can bring all of them under conscious control." Unbeknownst by Luther practicing this he has developed some strange talents; incredible reflexes, a danger sense and strength."

Sounds like it could be Flex Mentallo meets Scott Pilgrim. Might be a load of bollocks, though.

Sucks!!! That dude plays the same character whether it's with genetically engineered sharks or a plane with snakes! It's just Sam jackson with a purple lightsaber!! I don't get the appeal! Booooo that!

Yeah, but I think "just Sam Jackson with a lightsaber" could have been just the shot in the arm those lifeless prequels needed, Vulcan.

Unfortunately, by the time they actually gave him something to do it was too little too late.

Nope. Anakin just chopped off his hand, Palpatine actually killed him, lighting him up with all that Force Lightning & sending him through the window to his death.

Anyway, I like Windu & his no nonsense approach & attitude in the Prequels. I feel Lucas could've developed his character better & given him more scenes too. I also agree with Vulcan, in that Lando is a better character in the SW universe.
