Yep seeing as the Mayor Boris Johnson announced Thor would be big for London it must play a key role because Mayor Johnson doesn't usually talk about any of the other film productions in the city.

They should film in the Tower of London seeing as they just posted record low visitors this summer.

In all fairness though, Boris Johnson is a complete and total tit who runs his mouth without thinking about what he's saying.

Access to the waterfall Skógarfoss will be limited on Friday due to film making. It has not been confirmed which movie project they are filming that day, but a little bird whispered that the film in question is the Hollywood thriller Thor: The Dark World!

Skógarfoss is a waterfall and one of the biggest in Iceland. It is located in the southern part of the country, falling of cliffs formed the coastline of the country long ago. The former sea cliffs remain, parallel to the coastline for hundreds of kilometers.

Well, Hemsworth did say, a while back, regarding the depiction of Asgard in Thor 2:

"I think of big waterfalls and mountains and a Viking influence, where the Norse mythology kind of grew from. Having that in Asgard is going to make it all the more special and that’s what Alan [Taylor] wants to bring to it."

And what a waterfall! All those pics look fantastic!

As reported part film shot in the country, but filming will take place in the Landmannalaugar Dómadal according to sources visit. Massive crowd will come to film in the country, but nearly 300 people coming from the United States to work on the film. This does not include the number of Icelanders who will work on the film, but it is a production company True North, which will service the foreign shooting team. According to RUV news comes in addition to Hemsworth, British actor Christopher Eccelstone, to this country. It also says that arrests will be the largest that has occurred in this country in this sector though filming will only stand for one week.
