Wouldn't bank on Justice League for 2015.

I would say DC will at least lay the groundwork that MoS's Superman is part of a bigger universe for any potential Justice League film.. however given that Batman needs rebooted as well as any other characters they'd plan on including, I'd say 2015 would be somewhat unrealistic.. unless they plan on launching the characters onto the big screen through a Justice League film.. which would be silly IMO.

I thought it was common knowledge at this point that WB plans to launch the characters into their own franchises through JL, and MoS will be the beginning of a shared DC universe.

The last time I read something about a Justice League film, from what I understood it said (was rumoured but never confirmed) that MoS would be in essence what Iron Man was for The Avengers & start the wheels turning for a potential Justice League further down the line.
Hopefully they ignore Nolan's trilogy & create a new Batman that would fit more into a world with super powered characters leaving Nolan's trilogy for what it is. In fact they should also ignore Green Lantern while they are at it. |

But Man of Steel is supposed to have a similar "what if this happened in the real world" tone. So it's already taking steps to introduce a superhero to the real world. There isn't one reason why you couldn't apply that to Nolan's universe, especially since it's a new lead character.
Clark Kent becomes Superman and shows up after Dark Knight Rises. There. No superpowers occurred during Nolan's trilogy.

I hope it has no relation to Nolans films at all, let that standalone for what it is.

You can basically have Clark roaming the world while all the Bane stuff is going down. It looks like hes in a remote area from that teaser trailer so its safe to say hes unaware of what is happening in the world.

He was (allegedly) second to Daniel Craig for the Bond role. I could see him tackling it in a few years when he's done with Superman and has a slightly older and more weathered look.

Well Daniel was in his forties when he got the role, and given that Cavil is in his late 20's, I think, then he should be able to do quite a few Superman films and still do a james bond film if he were still interested.

I dont agree there. He lacks that smirk in the eye and he's a bit too young and polished. Not enough milage.
EDIT: Well, more or less what elgaz said..

Nah, he's almost I don't know how to put it, but I guess you could say too "macho" for Bond. I've never pictured Bond being so powerful looking.

What they should do is move JL to 2017 do the Batman Reboot for 2015 (which I know they won't cause it would be really pushing it without a script) and MOS 2 in 2016.

Even if they set up that there were no super heroes doesn't mean that kids still don't have active imaginations. Just because there are "no super heroes" doesn't mean that a child wouldn't think bout flying and having powers. And on another note if Nolan's Batman is connected, then there is a reason why kids wouldn't be running around dressed up like him considering the news makes him out to be a murdered.
