Grumble grumble grumble...
Ended up going with the costumebase vest :/ Also bought some brown fabric spray paint to weather the hell out of it. Hope it works. With the coat you only see like 1 foot of the vest anyway, ha. |

Looks great, man. Congrats on winning the contest. What did you use to distress the material on the inside of the jacket? Looks much better like that as opposed to stock.

Light mists of Flat Black and Tan Spray paint, I used a lighter flat Tan for the outside to give it that used look. I used black in the high wear places as well.

I bought some sand colored fabric spray paint, think it might work? Just give it a light mist in various areas? Expensive jacket, don't want to screw up, ha.

Does ANYONE have a screenshot of Bane wearing the bloodied "gauze mask" in the prison? I would owe you all of the internet points.
Thanks! |

I have been following this thread for a while but I'm still having trouble of find a place or person who is selling quality masks. The mask is the most important part. Can you please point me in the right direction?

Todd (AZspidey) has another mask on eBay or JBrown (has a thread on this site). IMO both of those are considered high quality. Todd's is quite a bit pricier but it's the most accurate available. JBrown has a thread on this site and you can PM him if you want one and his is very fair deal.

Weathered my jbrown mask a little more.
http://instagr.am/p/QXcK_RRQ2g/ Fabric paint just came in the mail, will try to dirty up the shearling lining of the coat this weekend. Only ordered one can though, hope that leaves enough for the vest. Ha. Well...Ryan, the camp spray paint you used on your jacket, does it run off or make it more stiff? I might go grab some cans for my coat. About how far did you stand back? ...I ask a lot of questions. |
