Absolutely. Hope they go with a mix of practical effects and CGI. That's one good thing about Singer and his X-movies, they didn't rely a ton on CGI thank gosh.

I'd like those to be like...footsoldier type Sentinels... "destroyers" in the Star Wars episode 1 terms..wheras we have the larger full on robot Sentinels as well as the ... well.. sentinels.

I still cant believe we are really gonna see the f**** sentineles on this franchise.

Its too big of a spectacle that until I see them on the teaser trailer, I wont believe it at all, lol

The action on this sequel has the potential to be really really epic, compared to the previous movies of the franchise. I pray Singer and his crew deliver top-notch action with the robots.

no need for cheap sequences during just 2 minutes. you know. They need to bring their A-game this time, more than ever.

They can even tease around them JAWS style at the beginning. See them flying out of focus above skyscrapers, see only part of them ala Cloverfield. Until s--- goes down, when we see them full fledged.

agree.

They just shouldnt appear now of a sudden without any impact. would be great to build their very first appareance, creating some mistery aroung them, with some tenssion and then..... POOOM, a giant sentinel hits the ground, creating a big impact on the audience.

Id love the viewers to be shocked about that future and the presence of the sentineles. We need to really feel an intense tenssion each time they appear.

Well, they can show a little bit more than Cloverfield did. A shadowy outline, a foot etc. More like Jaws style as someone mentioned previously.

Not just two hours later you get a 1/4 of a second of a sentinel's face.

the intro of the first sentinel could be done in just 1 min.

Its just about great direction and good use of shoots and music. We wont be watching the movie during 1 hour and a half to finally see a full sentinel, lol

No one here is surprised. It's no secret there will be Sentinels. People are discussing specifics, such as how they might look and when/how they might be introduced into the story.

They already said a few months (I think it was Mark Millar too) that there will be robots and obviously they were referring about the Sentinels.

And about the Destroyer (from Thor 1), I thought it look good. But if the Sentinels are going to be as big as the Destroyer, the X-Men would really have a hard time beating 1 Sentinel.

Im really intrigued about how Bryan is gonna make believeable that Wolverine, Rogue and Iceman are able to stop the sentinels.

seriously, appart from Magneto, its a really hard issue to portray.

the x-men on this future should be really really strong and trained to avoid being killed in the very first minute. no joke
