Yeah, I hear ya I guess that's why i've been loving x-force so much they're being the pro-active ones instead of waiting around for the villains to do something naysayers can complain endlessly about the "heroes killing" thing, but it makes some logical sense may not work out so well for them usually, but makes some sense

Did anyone read Indestructible Hulk #1? I thought it was a fantastic first issue. I'm eager to see where the series goes.

Loved it, I think this one is the sleeper of the marvel now.

I was happy with it. I'm not a huge Hulk fan but I'll give it a shot.

I enjoy Mark Waid as much as the next guy but it's tough for me to call something a sleeper hit after 1 issue.

I wasn't to trilled with Captain America. Dug Hulk a lot. Seeing Banner being frustrated with Stark because he gets recognition for being a genius, but Banner is know for being the dumb beast.

I hope banner gets some deserved attention now. I almost never hear about him. He doesnt seem to be an important character. Now that hulk is an avenger that could change

Yes, the recent film has rightly brought him back into the limelight.

I loved both Captain America and Indestructible Hulk. Cap's plunge into time travel craziness is welcome after all the grounded political thrillers of Brubaker's era, although I'm not too sure I like the idea that Steve's father is now a wifebeating douche. We'll see how that plays out, though. Hulk was just great all around, from Banner's portrayal to the idea of the Hulk as a living weapon for SHIELD. Very intrigued to see how it plays out, and I'm usually not a fan of the Hulk at all.

Cap's father was always a wife-beating drunk douche. This is the first time it's really been shown, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that it's only been mentioned in the past, not actually shown.

Is there any news of Frank Castle in Marvel Now? I just read most of the recent Rucka Punisher run, and liked it a lot.

The team consists of Punisher, Deadpool, Venom, Electra, and Red Hulk.
Which is actually pretty awesome. Sadly, it's being written by Daniel Way.

I've never read anything by Way. I like the team, apart from Red Hulk. Who I still think is stupid.

Yeah, awesome team/lackluster writer....I'm gonna give it a shot though. Since I don't want to be spoiled by the end of War Zone I'm going to buy the first few issues and hold off reading them.

Yeah, anyone who disses the Red Hulk without reading Parker's run is foolish.

I just think the entire idea behind him is stupid. Makes me not want to read anything that he's in, however good it may be.

I've not read Parker's run either, but I'd like to throw rocks as well. It sounds fun.

I think, even conceptually, General Ross as a Hulk is pretty compelling. Yeah, the general idea is ridiculous, but these are comic books, they revel in ridiculous ideas and, through them, carve out some pretty decent human dramas and character progressions. Ross as Hulk is pretty much the epitome of that.
