Bit early... Our family will be recovering from Christmas dinner at that time. It's usually around 6 in the UK.

I just plan on avoiding this thread and any Doctor Who related stuff online until 9pm that night. BBC America is giving us a same-day broadcast. I think I can wait.

I hope they also built an all-new set of corridors, because the previous ones weren't working for me.

I wouldn't mind if they went for the advanced look this time as apposed to the eccentric or organic looks they've had in the last two.

I hope it's not just painting the 11th doctor's console room blue and a new console. That's what i'm worried it will look like.

Same abstract metal art but....blue.

Ugh, I hope that's not the case too. The current console room works with its yellow/red color scheme. Seeing it in blue would just be weird.

I really like the addition of the Gallifreyan writing. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Oooo, I like the glowing tubes in the time rotor. Much better than the current time rotor, which looks like someone's glass vase fused with a Kool-Aid pitcher.

Any reasoning yet for the design change? They've done away with all the quirkie mish-mash of controls and it looks like its been stripped back to what one could assume it the default Gallifreyan tech. Could be a knock on to the Doctor's mindset, withdrawing after the loss of the Ponds.

So Moffat's scheduling plans have all gone out the window.

Some new details from Doctor Who magazine regarding season 7.

(So both halves manage to miss screening on those "dark winter nights" that Moffat claimed the delay was to allow the series to move to. And his "more Who than ever" actually turned out to be "one series in two years".)

The Anniversary Special (singular) doesn't shoot until (again) April.

(Anyone who was still holding out for any of Series 8 next year should really give up now.)

So the wait between the end of series 7 and till the Christmas special will be longer

We're back where we started a couple of years ago. Only this time we'll have less WHO starting in April rather than a full season.
