Lukin is a bit arbitrary.

I wouldn't rule it out, since Sam Rockwell doesn't scream of Justin Hammer to me, but Lannister doesn't look like Lukin, and the role described doesn't sound like him either. Zemo is probably a safer bet.

The thing is though, that got pulled from their ass. Idk about that, I didn't buy it for a second, secondly there was nothing supporting it, and thirdly Marvel shot down that rumor right away, not wanting to disappoint fans. Remember latin review claimed loki gets a a skrull army from Thanos? That was shot down, but they never said a word about Thanos. So I think it is possible, if this rumor was false, marvel would probably come out and say something. And fourthly, who else is there? Zemo seems the obvious choice anyway

As for Crossbones, I don't see it. For one thing, Crossbones needs to be a hulkster, and neither Holloway nor Coster-Waldau come even close for that kind of physicality. And from a fanboy standpoint, I say no way in hell you have Crossbones without Red Skull first. Johan is the reason Crossbones got his name: Red SKULL and CROSSBONES....get it?

Crossbones doesn't show up until Skully does.

Here's my take on Holloway: John Walker. Sawyer in Lost *is* US Agent. 'Nuff said.

Of course she fits the bill as MJ better, But if she gets cast as Cap's leading lady she get major status props just like Hayley Atwell did in "The First Avenger".

As for Crossbones, there are a millions of reasons he could be called Crossbones. He could be part of a Hydra element that's followed Schmidt's lead over the generations. We don't know.

I hope they don't use John Walker, as the hero side is already overstuffed with Captain America, Falcon, Bucky, Sharon Carter, and Black Widow.

John Walker wouldn't necessarily be a hero. He began his career as a Cap villain; and even as US Agent, he was more anti-hero than fullblown hero.

I'd assume one of them is Winter Soldier for a good chunk of the movie. Don't think we know yet who the mastermind is or who found Bucky yet. Hopefully we'll get some insight in the near future.

Ah c'mon, Doom disfiguring himself is one of the great comicbook moments! He's so vain about the scar on his cheek that he willingly destroys the rest of his face, thinking there's no difference. That's some great drama right there!

And it's not like Bucky would get lots of time to hit the gym and bulk up in between shooting people and taking an ice nap for the past 70 years.

Yeah I wonder if they'll incorporate any of that episodes story into the script or if they have given these concepts to the writers of CA:TWS and told them they want to use them or insinuate them in some way.

Like Nick Fury having an encounter with WS that caused his eye to be hurt. Maybe not so simple as the TA:EMH put it forth, but if WS was directly releated to that event in Fury's past. I thought that tie in was pretty neat. But if they want to come up with something way better then by all means they should.

Actually, it would make sense for the Soviets to have honed him into a much more finely-tuned soldier.

I think Winter Soldier would be more about definition than about bulk, though.

Whoa. You're taking WS right out of Cap's hands there and opening the door for Iron Man and Nick Fury and god knows who else to launch their own vendettas against him. Let's leave this battle between just Cap and Bucky, where it makes the most dramatic sense.

I would just be happy that others are enjoying the characters through other mediums rather than be bothered by it. It's a nicer way to live.
