Snyder's Batman is okay but only okay. Its nothing amazing really and while I'm enjoying this Joker story the amount of hype its getting is ludicrous. I'm enjoying it but all the 'Omg this is the biggest Joker story ever' hype is annoying

And all the crossovers seem pointless. I'd rather the writers on the other Bat books got to do their own stories rather than having to do tie ins to Snyder's stuff

New issue of Batwoman out this week! Now THIS is the Bat book I'm most excited for this month (And thankfully its not being involved in this crossover/tie in nonsense with Snyder's story)

I cannot wait to see how things go this week with Kate and Diana going after Medusa and with Medusa getting ready to try and take Gotham city

I'm so excited for this weeks new issue

Scott Snyder is the writer on Batman

The only comic book Azzarello is writing is Wonder Woman which has been okay

Though has made me make the face with the way it portrays the amazons as sailor raping mass murderers

Themyscira as an island of peace, love and kinky lesbian bdsm is the only acceptable version of Themyscira

Anything else is inferior

Their still lesbians at least so I'll have to take what I can get

Hopefully when Morrison writes Wonder Woman he shall restore Themyscira to the kinky lesbian paradise full of giant kangaroos that it should be

He's leaving ongoing comics and focusing on GNs and mini-series for the time being. But he's doing Wonder Woman: Earth One right now.

Also Morrison said he was going to "fix" Steve Trevor. I wonder how he'll do that...

I like Snyder, but I don't find anything he's doing particularly groundbreaking despite his hype. I'll give him credit with going places that are fairly original, and he's a good writer but Batman has a history of writers just as good as him.

So, I'm finished with Snyder. Liked his work at first but this Joker story is atrocious, lame and been-there-done-that. And he should stop using that stupid font.

Batwoman was amazing this week

Kate and Diana are both so well written here and I'm digging that it looks like Kate is going to reveal her secret identity to Maggie

The two of them versus Medusa and her followers is going to be so amazing

The scene where Medusa and Killer Croc show up in Gotham are so fab and Croc mutating even further was creepy as hell. The artwork in this issue was just so good I'm really glad to see that we've got Williams on the art for this story

Loved the design of Medusa too

And I be digging Kate and Diana's narration in this issue so much. Can't wait to see the spotlight on Maggie Sawyer next issue and getting a look inside her head during all this

Nightwing was painstakingly average again. Red Hood was alright, didn't like how everyone reacted to Superman, they all know who he is except for Starfire.

Not looking forward to "best Joker story evar!" crossing over into the titles.

Joker has come back, taken his face back by basically stapling to his flesh. He has kidnapped Alfred, leaving a recording for Bruce saying he has blinded Pennyworth. Batman meets Joker on a bridge, where Joker reveals that he knows the identity of Batman and every one of his masked friends and that Batman is going to end up killing them all.
