Seems like losing Cushing has hurt the Texans badly. They look lost out there.

Rice hosted Super Bowl 8? Weird. Also weird to see the AstroDome just sitting there.

Coughlin now passes Parcells as second-most wins as head coach of the NY Giants.

Rogers is playing angry tonight.

With The 49ers falling to The Giants today, are The Seahawks the new #1 defense in the league?

I guess we'll find out on Thursday night.

One thing is for certain, expect a defensive struggle for the ages.

I'm looking forward to it. I'll set the Over/Under for 14 punts.

49ers should be playing angry, and Seattle is on a roll. They completely shut down Rodgers, Romo, and Newton so I fully expect them to murder Alex Smith on the field. Wilson will not have a fun time against San Fran either.

If SF/SEA was in Seattle, I'd say Seattle wins close... but its in SF... SF 31 - SEA 14.

Looking at the Falcons schedule, excluding the Giants and maybe 1 game against the Saints, I don't see any real threats. Arizona, meh...

I'll probably be going to the Giants game. It'll be interesting because the Giants play their best best in big games on the road, while Atlanta is lights out at home.

I'll have to DVR the day of Redzone though

I was wrong on that one. Green Bay's offensive line looked like a different squad out there instead of those scrubs from the Seattle game.

Seems to be a trend across the League this year; inconsistency.

There's nothing like a War of Attrition.

Sure, who doesn't love an electrifying shoot out with two gun slingers, but, for me, I always tend to look forward to two smash-mouth, althetic and agile defensive titans clashing alot more.

Niners are gonna be looking for redemption after what happened earlier today but the Seahawks are legit, and they're looking for respect.

Gentlemen, get the buffalo wings ready for some classic hard-hitting football. The winner will likely be the favorite to represent the NFC (at this endeavor, anyway).

I feel for Smith and Wilson though. It's going to be a long night for both of them.

Check this out:

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...man-after-loss

Summary:

Brady and Richard Sherman were talking **** the entire game. Apparently, Brady told Sherman to come see him at the end of the game when the Pats win. Well, Sherman went to see him alright LOL

Sherman was caught after the game yelling in Brady's face.

I was at the Lions/Eagles game yesterday rooting on the Leo's. The first 3 quarters of the game was some of the worst football I've ever seen. It was like the teams were trying to one up each other to see who could be more sucktastic.

Then in the 4th all hell breaks loose and Stafford remembered he's got Megatron on his team.

A good win for the Lions. I'll take it even if it wasnt pretty. Now need to go steal another one from the Bears on MNF next week.

Also I'm petitioning Ford Field to display "4" in the Quarter on the scoreboard for the entire game. That way Stafford may actually play a complete 60 minute game.

Sherman thinks he's so great now cause he caught a Brady pass in the end zone..big deal! Then he jumps on twitter saying the "What have the Pats done lately? Oh, your 3-3 lol"

Hope he realizes the Seahawks are actually 3-3 too since the winning TD pass was an INT by Green Bay.

Wilson throws enough hail marys in the end zone, they'll make any QB look good if they get caught.

at this point 49ers are using him for run plays or play action. Which is fine, it was working the previous Weeks. And yes he is the future qb for the 49ers. always has been

Well Smith has another 2 years, but if you are going to boast about Smith's QB rating and on the other hand recognize that Kaep is going to be the future, it's quite contradictory. So Smith's the guy for this year and maybe next year?

And honestly, the way to get to Smith, is to do what was done in the Vikings and the Giants game, put him down 2 scores and he doesn't seem to be able to come back and win.

Now the source of the Jets victory, the combination of 2 powers so great their sheer presence on the field prior to the game led to the complete & utter annihilation of anyone that stood against them:

Smith should have ripped the team a new one after yesterday's victory. Make them go into the bye week with that in their heads.

I now fully expect the Jets to overcome the odds and make it to the Super Bowl. The cosmic powers of John Cena and Tim Tebow combined will not let the Jets lose. 13-3 season with homefield advantage coming up.
