It's so good we're finally getting a Superman whose not overly bulky on top. I think they have got him looking right before in CO2E, Superman/Shazam & Young Justice but this is the first time I think they've got his look right on his own feature.

Considering that they're basing it off of Superman: Brainiac, it's no surprise that we're getting a slightly leaner Superman. Gary Frank has stated that he doesn't like Superman who is excessively bulky and looks like he goes to the gym. He's Superman, he doesn't need the gym.

Agreed, I prefer Superman's physique to be muscular but lean, which he is here. I never understood the body buider buid at all. How is the Clark Kent persona supposed to work when he's Super huge.

I look forward to adding this to my collection, It's nice to see the Classic Superman still having a strong presence in animation. As a Supes fan it's nice that I still have this media source still I pray it never changes . I hate what 52 has done to Superman & the rest of the DCU .

Really?! I didn't know Tatum was voicing Superman, god he can't enunciate correctly on screen I can imagine how unbearable it is to just hear his voice.

Excellent voice cast. Stana Katic's voice is utterly perfect for Lois. The only one that gives me pause is, ironically, Bomer, simply because his voice is the only thing about him that doesn't scream "Superman" to me. He looks the part, and could certainly act the part, but I've never really thought he had that Superman voice. Oh well, I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt because I love him and it's nice to see him finally get the chance to play the role in something other than a commercial, lol. The rest of the casting is great, too. And while the arc this is based on was just a decent read to me, I love Brainiac as a villain, so I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Did anyone get a chance to watch that featurette on YT before WB took it down? Did it have previews of the voices?

Now all I can think of is this being a totally original film with Nic Cage voicing Superman as he goes through the most bizarre, insane, crazy adventures through the 5th dimension.
