Mandarin is a much better villain role than Vulture too.

The Iron Man 3 trailer is simply amazing!! Seems like a very emotional ride, which is something I always love. Kingsley as Mandarin seems much cooler than I expected (I wasn't a big fan of him doing the role at first, mainly because of the looks).

Has the potential to be the best Marvel solo film!

If we were to take out The Dark Knight Trilogy into the equation...could Iron Man 3 have broken the curse even with Iron Man 2 being only an okay sequel?

True, IM2 was a mess :/

I don't think it would break the curse since IM2 kinda already ruined that. But it would be one of the rare cases where the third superhero film is great (if it does end up great, that is).

Yah. Nolan's films were really films that only got better, imo, and we have never seen that with CBMs as of yet. I wonder what kind of film IM2 would have been without being a promo for Avengers.

It makes you wonder if the next Captain America or Thor film will get their proper due or still become some promo for Avengers 2. Hopefully not, but you have to think about that chance.

IM2 was a mess which it didnt have to be

Parts I didnt like was that Nick Fury was overly Involved,Tony's relationship with his Dad had good emotional potential but was never expanded upon,didnt really like Black Widow's involvement,Happy Hogan's character looked ridiculous,something subtle like his role in IM1 would have been better,The whole Climax and Whiplash controlling Drones/War Machine concept sucked,Didnt really like the character of Hammer(expected him to be serious guy),the actor playing Whiplash sucked imo

Also the soundtrack,the soundtrack of IM1 was pretty kickass,they totally ruined it in IM2

I lost my copy of the Watchmen film
I hate the porn scenes, but the rest of the film is pretty good, and Comedian is my favorite character just because of his scene with Owlman: "It's right in front of you"

I feel the same. They're taking it seriously now, instead of seeing it as just one more movie to grab some cash. When they do it right, not only they get their money, but they also get sequels. Shame that they messed up with Ghost Rider.

I hope that the next successfull genre will be of movies based on video-games. That's gotta happen some day. There are some great stories and adventures to be explored.

The only gripe I have with Iron Man 3 so far is that it has Iron Patriot, when he has nothing really to do with the Iron Man story at all. But that's just me.

Honestly, I hope we get to see Tony actually grow-up in this movie. He's taken some responsibility for his action, but there comes a point when the Jerk With A Heart of Gold (or newly discovered element) gets old and you want the hero to act like an adult and not a man-child.
