Comparisons are pretty natural. They are bound to happen.

And TBH, if you don't allow them their own thread, it's just gonna constantly get brought up in this thread and other general ones.

At least if the comparisons thread/s exist, that discussion can stay out of the way of people who don't wanna hear all the trashing of old films.
