nope. being the character equals money. they aren't face models. while the face is useful in acting, if the character doesn't show it much, that is a part of the character that can only be conveyed with a covered face. being in it for the narcissism of your face in close up in front of millions isn't acting. and completely unnecessary when you're already world famous.

Downey's face is shown when he's in the armor through the HUD. And he didn't write the script, so it was Black and Pearce who included the sentient armor (if that's what it is).

i've heard downey talk about the HUD shots saying he's semi uncomfortable with them because they are too close up. nothing in the ironman films so far hasn't fit the character yet and the sentient armour if it occurs won't be changing that.

Yes and no.. You find out that it takes 2 people to open the vault where they stored Extremis, and Killian and Hansen were the only ones with them, but Tony kept her around, and she was an eventual love interest

Hey just wondering does anybody know what role does Stephanie Szostak play in this.... I'm familiar with the Extremis story... But never got around to reading it as yet, is there another prominent female in it?
Or could she be like Madam Hydra or Madam Masque?? Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

My current theory is that Szostak plays Justine Hammer. Who eventually becomes the Crimson Cowl.

I hope not, only because it would be retreading what happened to War Machine in the last movie.

How would you see her role played in this film? Her origin story probably has to be tweaked, with her being Justin's sister as opposed to daughter. And maybe she is the money behind Mandarin... We did see those awesome guns blazing helicopters, maybe she's the inventor? |

If Justine is in this, I think a likely scenario would be that she's Justin Hammer's wife (or even ex), and that she's taken over the company while Justin is doing time for the events of IM2. That would give her a reason to both hate Tony Stark and lust after him at the same time, which is certainly a pretty apt description of how Szostak seems to feel about RDJ in that clip.

Anyone other than me find it comical, that should Justine Hammer be in this, she'll be the "Ex-Wife"?

I hope Mandarin references the events of IM 1 and 2 and even brings up Rasa.
And although it's not impossible, it does seem a bit silly for Justin to marry a Justine.

I hope Crimson Cowl will show up in IM4 then, if your theory turns out to be true.

He thinks it would be comical to tie it with the Ex Wife missile thing from IM2.

I'd love for it to be Whitney, too; but that look for Szostak is *very* similar to Justine Hammer, and doesn't resemble Masque at all. Masque's backstory is a lot more complex, too --- I'd see her for future movies.

Is it confirmed that Radioactive Man will be i this, or just Chen Lu?
That distinction could make a world of difference

If he is Radioactive Man, then aren't they going to run into the same problem in future of having a Chinese villain which their Chinese market won't like?
If he's not Radioactive Man, then why make him Chen Lu? He could've had any other name and still served the same function.

1. Radioactive Man, as a villain, doesn't play on old racial/cultural stereotypes that people are sensitive about quite like early incarnations of Mandarin did.
2. Calling him Chen Lu could set him up for potential villain status in a sequel (or wasn't there a rumor of involvement w/ Ant-Man?). Also, its a comic book movie. It's a nod to the fans. It's not like that hasn't been done before.

I don't think Szostak is anyone particularly noteworthy.
