I like it too.

I actually like Mandarin's also, more or less.

Part of me is glad they didn't go for the straight up long haired look, but another part hoped that they would have him completely bald except for the ponytail.

It's the lighting. You can see all the armours in the first production still, all with regular colours.

From the Comic Con trailer description

- We open with Iron Man putting on his new suit that he can summon through force of will (I believe this is the Extremis armor, but I don’t want to officially call it that). He has some pieces that don’t want to behave, and they start zipping around the room, smashing into things (Tony included), and he gets slammed with some pieces in his nuts and in his back, with the mask the last piece ready to strike. “I’m not scared of you,” Stark says defiantly to the hovering mask. The mask charges, Tony dose a sweet flip, the mask clicks on, Iron Man sticks the landing, and strikes a bad ass pose. Then the Marvel logo comes up.

We're going back the trial and error type scenes from the first movie.

Looks like Stark is perfecting his "magnetism" aspect of the armors.

Seems like it. But I wonder why Stark still has Mark II in his collection; I thought that was the suit that Rhodey stolen to become WM.
