So, a year in and my pull list, on the DC side, looks like this:

Justice League
Wonder Woman
Stormwatch
Sword of Sorcery
Action Comics
Batman, Inc.
Batwoman
Justice League Dark
I, Vampire

Dropped/Cancelled:
Batman (Just couldn't keep interested in it)
Swamp Thing (Started out great, but lost interested)
Animal Man (Same)
OMAC (You were too good for this world)
JLI (Dropped before canceled, just sort of sucked)
Frankenstein (Dropped it pretty early. Decent, but eh, not decent enough)
Aquaman (I tried it, but man, I just could not give a ****)
Resurrection Man (Solid until the end)
Suicide Squad (It wasn't too bad, really, just lost interest)
...Feels like I'm missing something here, but can't remember.

Anywho, I don't know how I've stayed with JL so long. It's not particularly good, but maybe it's just nostalgia on my part, ****, I don't know. Same with Stormwatch, too. It improved under Milligan, but still not that great or anything. Came close to dropping Batwoman after that ****** second arc, Jesus Christ that was awful; I don't know how I pulled through, but the bounce back has been good. Sword of Sorcery's writing is fairly rough, but I've been enjoying it.

The rest: Good stuff.

Ah, yes, that's what I forgot. It has been a surprisingly good series.

I Vampire, DC Presents, and Saucer County are canceled. Gatefold covers. Even more useless and vague solicitations (but they all end in a...question?). Detective Comics celebrates issue 900 with issue 19. So many creative team changes. Most importantly, only two issues left of Batman, Inc.

Aw, one series closer to reading nothing at all from DC for me. Although I figured I, Vampire was on borrowed time anyway, given that Andrea Sorrentino jumped ship over to Green Arrow recently. Plus, it's I, Vampire...

Yeah, it managed to stay good (for the most part) too. I wasn't crazy about that middle bit with all the armies and stuff, but I love the role-reversal story going on now.

I thought Batman Inc was done at issue #12? And with Morrison leaving, is the title dead?

Sucks that hes leaving. It's been the best Bat title so far IMO.

Earth 2 is one of those comics that I'm consistently interested in but never try. I have a feeling I'd start picking it up and I can't afford that.

Earth 2 is one of those comics where I was interested for about a second and then thought, "F*** it, it'll probably just disappoint me anyway," skipped it, and never looked back.

I didn't think I"d like E2, but I've ended up liking it a good deal. Wasn't a huge fan of turning Alan gay, but it's whatevas. It's not really a book I eagerly anticipate each and every week, but it's been solid.

Turning Alan gay is partially what turned me off of trying the book. I'm not against gay characters but I'm against turning pre-established straight characters gay. It feels forced and desparate. There's nothing that happened in Flashpoint that would have turned Alan gay. I don't really think that it works that way.
