I was really looking forward to the Royal Flush Gang, for some reason thinking they would try to stick with the costumed royal family mafia family they have in the comics and Batman Beyond. With the white suits and the Royal outfits. But instead it looks like they are making them bank robbers who have hockey masks with card symbols on them. Thats fine too, I guess. Just hoping for more of a costumed villain thing.

I'd also like to see the League of Assassins. Looking forward to Deathstroke. Eventually I hope Tommy becomes the rival archer Merlyn from the comics. Lady Shiva maybe, who are some well known rogues of Ollie's?

What I would give to see another incarnation of the Demons Head on the screen again!

If they adapt Brick (which I suspect they will at some point; be it a single episode villain, a recurring one or the Big Bad of a future season), I suspect he will be presented somewhat like Marvel's Kingpin in terms of his toughness and invulnerability. Specifically, it will be relative to Arrow's toughness and vulnerability - such that when the latter throws a punch at him, he'd barely feel it - rather than an outright superpower.

Also, this being the CW, I'd expect him in a business suit rather than a track suit. After all, he's a boss and not some low level thug.

I'd only want to see him if Batman was in the episode, the thing is Ra's is a major Batman villain whereas people like Firefly aren't.

I'd like to see onomatopoeia, assuming they can translate that character to screen without being absolutely ridiculous. I'm assuming they're mimicing smallville and doing the best friend turned enemy thing with Merlyn. Which kinda bugs me. Hope it doesn't take 8 years. I guess bring in Count Vertigo.

I have zero faith in their ability to realistically turn this Tommy Merlyn into Ollie's archery archnemesis. It's just like, why? How would that ever happen with this version of the character? Makes about as much sense as his sister being the Red Arrow: zero.

I was thinking the same thing too. But then I wondered if maybe Tommy has an older brother or a cousin, uncle, or dad that could be the archnemesis. Of course it wouldn't be as emotionally impactful but still the show could get some good drama out of Tommy having to choose sides and going with his family.

The way it stands now, it's going to take a long time for Tommy to stand toe to toe with Ollie. Perhaps if they had shown him being able to handle himself when they got kidnapped in the pilot, it would at least seem more plausible. That kidnapping scene might come back to be a wasted opportunity.

Maybe it will be like on Smallville where Jimmy Olsen dies and turns out he had a younger brother named Jimmy as well, so he is the Jimmy from the comics and not the dead Jimmy.
Maybe this Merlyn isn't the one from the comics because its his older brother.

They should v adapt the whole family including artemis. Certainly enough characters to add to the show.

I've always wanted to see a reimagined version of GA's golden age adversary Bull's-eye. Some ideas:
-Pattern his look more after modern circus geeks instead of clowns, with tattoos and piercings all over face and body.
-Incredibly high theshold of pain.
-Crack shot with throwing instruments such as knives, darts, ect
-Vicious close range fighter, not at all hesitant to bite or slash at opponents with murderous intent.
-Manson-esque agenda of creating chaos through committing crimes against "normal" and "elite" members of society.
