I always figured the first Class era would be In similar outfits to what they wore In First Class and In future they would wear no uniforms.

I don't really get the fuss over the costumes but I'm glad they're trying something new with this. It's a different era in comic book movie storytelling after all.

I never had a problem with the costumes in the first few movies, thought they made them more of a team, but i'm all up for something new for FC2 as well, cant wait to see what Singer does.

Well, they didn't wear the X-Men costumes in the dystopian future in the comics anyway. It would be like advertising they were mutants - not a good idea when Sentinels are on the prowl.

I think that's a big leap! It just says that his original costumes won't be back.

I was thinking whether what Bryan said does mean they will costumes in the future, like they did in the animated series.

I think people might expect the returning characters to wear costumes, and maybe even they are aiming for a colourful gathering like the Avengers. So maybe they will be costumed in the future?

That will actually be cool if there suits in the future has more color, and maybe that influences the FC mutants to make their own indivual suits, and have the future X-Men start wearing there own couloured uniforms!!

Thus seeing Wolverine in yellow spandex could be a reality!!

You could be waiting awhile.With filming begining In april It could be february or march till news break.Inless one of first Class actors or actors from first trilogy say something the
real news may not leak till Bryan does interviews to promate Jack the Giant Slayer In March.

I can see it too. Transformers 4 shoots in spring too and we already have Mark Walberg more some casting rumours.

So we'll probably get one or two confirmations from original actors in the next two months.

Hopefully someone asks Hugh jackman about Days of future Past when he Is promating LEs MEs.Obviously when Bryan Singer does Interviews for Jack The
Giant Slayer someone Is bound to ask him X-Men questions.

First off we need confirmation on who Is returing from first Class besides james Mcavoy,Michael fassbender,and Jennifer Lawrence.Obviously we can assume Nicholas Holt will be back especilly after Simon Kinberg's comic con Interview.But.the rest we need confirmation on.

If the past In DOFP remains the 1960's most of those who survived should return.

With original cast based On Patric Stewert's comments we can safely assume he's in film but as for rest we need confirmation.

As I have said I expect the cast of DOFP to be cast members from First Class and X-Men trilogy+target of assassination

Look at past history of X-men films

X2-not till june of 2002 till we started hearing who was joining cast

Last Stand-Kelsey Grammer was announced as Beast In early june 2005.Besides Vinnie Jones It was close to august start date till we got word
on other new casting.Before Grammer was cast the only casting news we got In april and may were word who was coming back from first 2 films.Most of cast had to be resigned.

First Class-James Mcavoy cast In June of 2010 and michael fasbender In July of 2010 but most of casting was announced In august 2010

The wolverine-Most of cast was announced In July

So not getting any word till February or march Isn't unprecendent for X-Men films.

but the hype for this movie is bigger than Wolverine and The Wolverine Id say. so with Bryan now on full preproduction stage, he could start signing original actors sooner, specially if they dont want to loose some of them because possible new proyects.

Fox shouldnt wait too much to sign them, its would be risky.

The thing to remember Is not when they are signed but when they are announced.After Singer was signed reports said a substandual numbers of actors from earlier films would
be returning.We now know Bryan back In 2009 was working on first Class from july/august though he didn't announce it till december 2009.

It's more a question when they make annoucements than them making deals.

My how time changes things. At the time Singer left the franchise, I was so pissed that they killed off Cyke, and how mistreated he was in the franchise. Now Singer is back, alot of the original actors want to come back on, but after the events of A vs. X, I was hoping Cap would go up to Scott and cut his ****ing head off!!! LOL!

Both Stewart and Famke has hinted at them returning, I think those are two safe bets. I think Charles (or his twin-brother if they don't retcon that) will be the one performing an eventual mind-transfer.

Famke may be refearing to her wolverine cameo.Now that doesn't mean she won't be In Days of Future past.It depends how she cameos In The Wolverine.

If they go with original comic version of time travel and have It be changing minds with younger version It will be Xavier performing that act(replacing rachel from comic version)
but that leaves us with only 3 possibly time travels.Xavier himself,wolverine,or Mystique.I don't want It to be Mystique as that destroys any devolpment of her.If Bryan singer wants to go with Xavier doing It then I will support It but Xavier as time time traveler says to me expect this film to go back and forth between past and future like original
comic.It could have similartys to wolverine and the X-Men except that Xavier changes mind with younger self and those In fuutre would be actors from earlier films and not mostly characters not In present.But If Wolverine Isn't time traveler expect him to have key role In future.He defently wouldn't be mostly In background as some were hoping.
