Just that, let's not build a monument just yet! Wait until the money's on the ground!

That said, it's his money, and I'm not inheriting. If he wants to stuff it all in his neck pouch or build a robot hooker, is all well and good. But since he's declaring charity, we can at least this on it's own merits. Let's look at it with a clinical eye, at least until the charity money's aid becomes aparent. Is this too cynical as well? I AM a naturally distrusting guy...
You know he would have been well within his rights to just take the 4 billion and do nothing with it. Even if he's using it as a tax write off, there are still charities receiving funds.

I agree with Batzarro. I don't trust where any of the money goes ever, especially in California.

OK let's say all this money goes to USC, I mean shouldn't that lower tuition rates or something? I mean it's so hard to get jobs now, having college degrees is almost useless and we have to spend years paying off our student loans.

Yeah, most also forget the fact that it was George Lucas who created the SW universe anyway

That video made me believe Bird could fly as the director of Episode VII, but there are some things i don't agree, like the prequels being worse than the christmas special.

Oh, believe me, it is.

It is...

And it's technically a "Life Day" special and was shown around Thanksgiving 1978.

I haven't seen that special since it originally aired. I remember being so excited that my favorite characters were on TV. My other big thrill was Mark Hamill on the Muppets ...

It's the one case where you can actually agree with Lucas for trying to strike it from the record and rewrite history. Lol

I think the site wrongfully attributed First Class to Bird.

Do you think his mailbox says "The Birds"?

Yes. There is perhaps some enjoyment to be had out of just how inexplicably terrible it is. But keep in mind this is the one thing George Lucas wanted never to be released. George Lucas of all people, a man with staggeringly questionable taste.

OK...check this. Now...this might be a bit crazy, but just go with me.

Tom Hardy as an honorable bounty hunter who only goes after bad guys.

AAAnnnd...his faithful, yet nervous alien sidekick (actor would be in heavy make up as opposed to full cgi character) Will Ferril or Steve Carell.

Tom Hardy as a Bounty Hunter doesn't sound bad, but I don't know about honorable. Maybe he should walk the line and you never know where his allegiances lie. What I'd like though, if he's loyal to his contract givers.

Like he gets hired by the good side for a job and the Empire gets wind of it. They try to pay him like double or 10 times the amount, to not go through with his mission and work for them and he's all like "Sorry, I don't sell out. But we can talk about a new contract once I'm finished with my current one." Commence with the ass kicking where no one is left to hire him.
