How great would it be to see a bearded Mark Hamil mentoring Jedi?
Or Heir to the Empire,Dark Force Rising or The Last Command on the big screen?
An animated version of Splinter in the Mind's eye would be cool too.

I'd love an animated Splinter movie.

But we're not getting the Thrawn Trilogy, that's for sure.

And bearded Luke's something I'm betting my house on.

If they killed off Han and Leia I'd need an immediate intermission and a box of tissues haha

Eh, you'd have to last 5 minutes, 'cause it could easily be during the climax of Ep7.

Both at the same time? Can's a hero die peacefully in Star Wars?

It would not surprise me to see some of those original characters killed off in the upcoming sequels. It will be tough to watch if it happens.

As do I. Flashbacks, maybe. But I don't even see how that would work. It's time for a new villain.

And why do I keep picturing a Vader scene looking like this?

so, if they are going to get the original cast back playing their older selves........wouldn't it make sense to have the new trilogy revolve the Solo children, especially the Solo twins?

also, there's a rumor going around that they want to bring Vader back........somehow..........

Director search is down to a couple of candidates, according to producer's husband:

I think that rumor originated in a British tabloid--it can probably be dismissed.

I think by this point Han would be retired and living at the Sabaac table.
Or head of security appointed at protecting Leia in her political position.

The would be pretty sweet! Or have Luke being the facing the brain to eventually have the new guy meet up with Luke and see the Jedi Master kick serious booty.

Please, please, please keep Vader dead. No clones, no other guys in the same armour, nothing. I'm OK with old Luke training guys. I'm OK with new characters. But I am not OK with reviving Vader to sell merchandise. Just watch the original triology if you want that.

If they want Vader in another movie, they need to make a movie about the events that take place between III and IV. I would love to see a movie with Vader hunting down the remaining Jedi.

But they really need to tone down his powers if he ever makes it into live action. The stuff he does in the games doesn't really fit well with movies.

I can only see Vader as a ghost. It's good to keep some stuff from the original trilogy but they don't have to do it too much. For example bring Boba Fett back instead. It was never explained in the movies that he actually died.

I don't know, it's no different with the Lightsaber combat. OT, pretty basic sword fighting. PT, martial arts galore.

Yeah well I think it's quite a difference between sword fighting and using force powers. Just look at the cinematics for the Old Republic, the sword fighting were even more extreme than the PT but the force powers were pretty consistent with the movies.

What exactly are the limits of force powers? We all know Yoda's famous line, but you never see Jedi knights attempting to stop capital ships or huge space stations with a hand wave.
