Starting at a new place would possibly disrupt canon, but you could find a way around it. That could have been a problem for Arndt and is at the heart of the matter: Do we just start afresh or can we have it in a way where the previous stuff could still happen or we can just pick and choose what we want.

It doesn't bother me at all personally because I don't really follow the EU post ROTJ.

I'd prefer that they steer clear of Coruscant, but I get your point. I just feel like they've shown that planet more than needed in the series.

I'd really like to see them explore some of the worlds that they showed in the Order 66 montage in Episode III. I feel like that would really tie more of the prequels into the series.

Here's my question: Once Marvel owns the rights to Star Wars comics, do they start producing stories that are considered canon and overwrite the existing EU? I know that it's doubtful, but it would be cool to read a story that actually fits in with the movies.
