I saw him in SM2, it really wouldn't matter to me. I would rather see him if it had purpose, not to see him so that they can add another comic character.

Well first of all, J.K. Simmons played the role perfectly and he was one of most enjoyable things with Raimi's trilogy, so I won't say anything bad about him being a comedic relief or anything, but yet, we do need a more serious version as this trilogy seems to be trying to make itself serious, and at least it'll help now without Lizard, lol. I keed, I keed...hopefully no Spidey fans become too upset with that zing.

But...the son doesn't need to be shown, or even the wife for that matter. I'd rather see just the Daily Bugle family, than the actual families of the employees of the Daily Bugle.

Okay, two things.

A) Cranston as JJJ? Sorry, once Mr. White gets what is coming to him, Cranston will be busy...playing Jim Gordon (let's hope)

B) No venom. I hate the POS character, and Raimi wrote him better than any version he's ever been written.

My favorite iteration of Venom would have to be the US-M comics. I loved that Venom was a science experiment, not some alien from the Secret Wars, loved the suit, hated its origin.

Ugh, it's a personal pet-peeve of mine when they put someone in the shadows in the first movie and wait to cast them until the 2nd, as if we wouldn't notice that the voice is a completely different person (I'm looking at you, Sherlock Holmes). The guy Michael Massee portrayed in the shadows at the end of this movie was so obviously not Jamie Foxx, I really hope he wasn't supposed to be Electro.
