They really shouldn't dive into Jonah's son in this trilogy. They need to explain his parents, catch Ben's killer, and do whatever with Norman.

I saw him in SM2, it really wouldn't matter to me. I would rather see him if it had purpose, not to see him so that they can add another comic character.

They could show that he was good pals with George Stacy and he blames Spider-man for Killing him/not saving him. That could justify his hatred for Spider-man

As I said, many people would love to see Bryan Cranston as JJJ, lol.

But...the son doesn't need to be shown, or even the wife for that matter. I'd rather see just the Daily Bugle family, than the actual families of the employees of the Daily Bugle. When something is alluded, it should be explained or shown.

I'd be fine with no Eddie Brock to be honest. No Venom, no Eddie Brock, nothing to remind me of that character. I need to have at least ten more years to get that bad taste out.
And the Daily Bugle also doesn't need some made up character for even more "comedic" relief.

Because it's always better to use love interests that aren't very known to the general audience.

Okay, two things.
A) Cranston as JJJ? Sorry, once Mr. White gets what is coming to him, Cranston will be busy...playing Jim Gordon B) No venom. I hate the POS character, and Raimi wrote him better than any version he's ever been written.

My favorite iteration of Venom would have to be the US-M comics. I loved that Venom was a science experiment, not some alien from the Secret Wars, loved the suit, hated its origin. Last edited by the.wolf; 11-04-2012 at 02:29 AM. |

I'm moreso Brock as Venom than Venom himself.
"Yeah, you exposed my fake news story, that I didn't bother checking the facts, therefore you are responsible and I hate you. Time to die." That's just woeful writing.

CBMs I enjoy the most at this moment: 1) The Avengers, 2) The Dark Knight, 3) Iron Man 3, 4) Iron Man, 5) The Amazing Spider-Man. CBMs in the near future I'm most looking forward to at this moment: 2) Thor 2, 3) Man of Steel, 4) The Amazing Spider-Man 2, 5) Guardians of the Galaxy (would be higher in the list if it wasn't for how much I hate the film Super from the same director). |

Oscorp is going to be playing a HUGE roll in this trilogy. I love it. Very much like TSSM, beauty.

I hope it does. I finished watching TASM on blu ray yesterday and the commentary about the extra scene at the end... Marc Webb actually mentioned:
Who is that? Norman? Electro? Hah! Electro must be Norman's personal security and "driver" |

Ugh, it's a personal pet-peeve of mine when they put someone in the shadows in the first movie and wait to cast them until the 2nd, as if we wouldn't notice that the voice is a completely different person (I'm looking at you, Sherlock Holmes). The guy Michael Massee portrayed in the shadows at the end of this movie was so obviously not Jamie Foxx, I really hope he wasn't supposed to be Electro.
