Villains in the next Star Wars movie

It would be nice to have villains, particularly the henchmen and soldiers that aren't idiots like how the Original Trilogy Stormtroopers were at times, let alone the Trade Federation Droids.

Well I dont wanna see Sith/Dark jedi as villains,or any form of the Empire as villains in the first trilogy-I want something new.I like the ideas of a Revamped Yuzzvhan Vong being the vilains.The idea that they are not antiforce but the true originators of the Draksid is pretty neat.

What if in thinking he lost his son Vader had a clone son made of whatever DNA he had and he is alive only he is Red Vader but lets say Leia's Daughter looks like Padma and Red Vader clone has this obession for a certain Solo.

Let's be honest, this goes back to the original movies. The Storm Troopers couldn't hit the broadside of a star destroyer.

The battle droids in the sequel movies were just terrible. The clones were actually shown to be fairly competent.

It's one thing for some random mooks to be incompetent, but if you build up an enemy (recall Obi-Wan talking about what good shots Storm Troopers were)... they should be as deadly as you're told they are.

Agreed. Which is why I'd prefer they go the complete opposite. Perhaps for a villain, they could go with a GOOD Jedi who goes too far in his pursuit of holding to the Light Side?

I think a key thing for these movies should be not doing what the prequels did and making it all about the Jedi.

There's just so much more richness to the universe, there's no need to focus all of our attention on them. To go along with that, I strongly hope the main villain isn't a Jedi master this time around.

I'm all about the Jedi, so I'm glad the PT turned out the way it did. But I get it, the general audience thinks differently, so there should be other aspects and characters. Just, please, make them interesting.

Actually, I think Jedis are exactly what the general audience is looking for. It's the first thing that comes to their mind when they think of Star Wars and it's the one thing that differentiates it from other sci-fi movies.

The film is a direct sequel to a film titled Return of the Jedi, and they are bringing Luke back, I think it's a safe bet they'll be central to the plot. The general audience will go nuts when the first trailer arrives and the iconic sound of the Lightsaber igniting fills the cinema.

A Star Wars series without the presence of Vader is, as far as I'm concerned, practically inconcievable. If they bring him back, they stupidly undo his perfectly done demise and if they go ahead without him, it probably won't even feel like Star Wars.

How exactly do you fix a problem like that?
Force ghost? Nope, he'd look Anakin.
Time travel? Not bloody likely.
Flashbacks? Star Wars doesn't do those.

It's a pickle.
