Character Descriptions and Actors You'd Wanna See

Got the ok from HR to do this

Basically, since we dont know what characters will be coming or even returning this thread is just specualation/wishful thinking on what character types and actors who you'd wanna see in the new episodes.

I'llstart: I'd like to see Emmy Rossum show up, playing a more tough reckless type of character/Jedi apprentice

For some reason, Olivia Wilde looks Star Wars-esque.

I think she'd be great as a Twi'lek character.

John Boyega was awesome in Attack the Block and has serious potential in anything he does. I would totally be hyped if got involved in these films in some way.

Same here. Then again, it's not like Carrie Fisher was a mega-monster of an actress, either, so who knows?

I was thinking him. But I dont know if I can really picture as a Jedi but theyre other roles so I'd be down for him being in the film

The new Star Wars needs a new and cool smuggler. Even if Han is in the movie they need to have another cool smuggler......who would be the ultimate smuggler??

Thats right...the guy who played Sawyer.... he IS a Smuggler.

And as far as a new youthful Jedi.....

Umm, it might just be me but does anyone want to see any actors in this which aren't gorgeous? Someone sort of alien looking like Tim Blake Nelson or Matt Smith (not him of course or the universe will explode but someone like him) or Paloma Faith?

I mean, thats the whole thing about the Empire wasn't it? That they were racist (and took away freedoms etc) so shouldn't what follows be really unusual or cool?

Well it's Disney so they'll want to add their own touch like Zak Efron as an offspring of the Skywalkers, Dylan and Cole Sprouse as Han & Leia's twin children.

Selena Gomez as a helpless damsel, Tim Allen as the voice of any CGI character.

Josh Holloway- Rogue Bounty Hunter (Han Solo-esque character)
Olivia Wilde- A princess of some sort... or a twi'lek.... OR a Twi'lek Princess!
Leonardo Dicaprio- Jedi
Keanu Reeves- Artificial Intelligence
Tom Hardy- Sith

Although I kinda hope they go with no-names.

I wouldn't mind Leonardo DiCaprio playing the spirit of Anakin Skywalker. He was almost cast to play him in the prequels and there's something about his head shape that resembles Sebastian Shaws.

EDIT:

Also I want Topher Grace to have a role, he's a huge star wars fan, he even made his own fan edit of the prequels. He'd be a good youthful student of Luke. Oh and Ewin needs to reprise his role of Obi-Wan Kenobi. I think the protagonist needs to at minimum meet the ghost of Vader, but Obi-Wan would be cool too.
