Lucas said he didn't know he had a following until after ROTJ.

I think it would be cool if she'd just don her father's armor. I like the idea of her carrying armor that conceals her gender. First you'd think that Boba somehow survived. Then she takes the helmet off and you're all like...

This.....actually isn't a bad idea. But she'd have to exposit that Boba survived somehow. Otherwise we'd just be like "Oh some random chick is running around in Boba Fett's armor."

I'm not sure if Boba will reappear (this sequel may take place a LONG time after ROTJ). But I definitely think a Mando will appear in the new trilogy as a big character, the armor is too iconic for it not to be in the trilogy. Plus, it's a good way for Disney to sell more toys.
![]() I hope Disney lets Johnston direct his Boba Fett movie now though. That could be all sorts of badass.

Would the movie start with Boba blasting his way out of the Sarlacc, or would the Movie take place way before his embarrassing demise?

I say it should start shortly before his death & then after an opening credits sequence, it shows the Sarlaac blowing up & Boba rises from it.

Dude, a scene before the classic opening credits sequence? For Star Wars?

Honestly if they brought back Fett it would be pandering unless its well written. I don't want it to feel obligatory or contrived.
Better yet, why not just how the Mandorians themselves. Like how things in real life have resurgence, maybe they can be a vital part of the new story. |

I think a woman Fett ( Wobba Fett, if you will) could be an interesting twist on things. Off course, for that to even be relevant she'd need more screentime than Bobba, but for it to be something better than Jango.

And she doesnt have to be a Fett per say. I think a female Mandorian (sp) warrior could work and make her more morally ambiguous than Boba and Jango. Maybe she could be the new Han Solo for that matter who ends up turning to the side of good. A good strong female and a potential love interest to the main character..

Maybe just another mandalorian? It doesn't have to be part of the fett family.

I could do without Boba, but I think a member of the Fett family is a must.
Star Wars is like "The Godfather" in space, and the Fett family is an important part of that. They need a Fett to represent.

As for the topic, yeah I would be interested in seeing Boba again. He had rather a quick exit really. Bit like Saruman in the cinematic release of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Even Saruman had a better death than Boba Fett.

Yeah, I think so too. I like Boba, he's one my favourite characters in the saga. However I'm not sure if I want to go down the 'he actually survived the Sarlaac route. Like how I've seen people argue Muldoon in JP didn't die - he had such a bond with the raptors they were just playing with him, not eating him alive. However I would really like to see Mandalorian armour appear at least. I'd be right on board with a female Fett.

See I think there is a near 100% percent chance of a Fett appearing..it's been established as a theme and constant in both prior trilogies..not to mention the huge marketing fan appeal.
100% chance i say!

The anti-climatic nature of his death seems fitting, I think. If they keep it as a death. Not going down in a firefight, where he'd very likely win. But something random that just eventuated in a moment he didn't see coming, nor he could do much about. It was all very quick. After successfully tracking and capturing prey over his lifetime, he doesn't expect to lose, or indeed, make mistakes. One of the greatest bounty hunters stuck in a moment he couldn't get out of.
