Will They/Should They Bring Back Boba Fett?

I wouldn't mind "a" Fett. Boba would probably be retired by this point.

But he could have children, or proteges.

A homage to Fett might be cool. An older Mandalorian, who is implied to be Fett.

Have a female Fett isn't a bad idea either. In the trailer of The Old Republic there is a female bounty hunter who is clearly a homage to Fett.



Either way though, I'd like him or her to be a supporting character, rather than an antagonist.

Better yet, why not just how the Mandorians themselves. Like how things in real life have resurgence, maybe they can be a vital part of the new story.

Just have the protagonists meet a grizzled Mandalorian in a bar, who mentions his dad was killed by a Jedi. Something like that.

Boba must return. Ideally with Jeremy Bulloch when he's helmeted, and Temuera Morrison as his face and voice. I understand Jeremy may not be up to it now, so Temuera would be fine to play him all the time.

I'd like to see him joined by his granddaughter Mirta Gev and the rest of the Mandalorians in Episode VIII.

I'd use the whole "Clone" thing to explain his longevity like the EU kinda did.

A Fett movie would be a dream come true. I'd even settle for any spin-off involving Mando's but if you're gonna do that, might as well be about Boba.

The only reason I appreciate Boba Fett so much was because of the EU. In the movies he has this cool design and (formerly) cool voice, but I don't get the love as a character based solely on ESB and RotJ. It can go either way for me.

I'm a huge fan of Boba, he captured my imagination as a kid before all the EU stuff was written, I used to make up my own stories of him chasing Han between ANH and ESB.

However I don't see him reappearing at this point but I do see a Fett being in the movies, the Mandalorians have been a hugely successful spin-off from the movies and the iconic look is just behind Vader and Maul when it comes to marketability.

Personally I'm hoping for the Mandalorians to be in Episode VII as the antagonists against the Jedi, a full on Jedi vs Mando war would be stunning IMO.

Kinda like Boushh, I like this idea, especially if the idea is played up that Boba as an image or symbol of the rebuilt Mandalore is being kept alive to make him seem even more mythical to outsiders.

Jeremy Bulloch: First of all I would like to see Boba Fett get out of the Sarlacc as quickly as possible. Maybe a meeting with Han Solo to sort out their differences. Episode 7 has so many possibilities. I don’t know about the original cast coming back. It would be nice to see all the favorite characters appear but if this happens then the story must be strong and make sense.
