If they keep up the whole announcing one or two characters every two months, by the time the game comes out, they're probably will be 8 or 9 characters that haven't been revealed.

wait.......Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy cells in the Arkham Asylum stage??

if so, wouldn't that rule them out as playable characters, if they are "background" characters?

I think it would just put them in the background for sure seeing that we're getting captain cold which is a flash villain and he fills the void for a character with that tech/ ability.

You dont actually see them its like a snippet of their cells nothing major.

Its when Cyborg does his super move in the Behind the Battles vid (About 1:05) when you look to the left you can see Plants and Vines sticking out and at another point in that part you can see Icicles hanging down.

I like both characters, but since they are both Bat characters, I'd rather they not take up roster space as playables.

background cameos I wouldn't mind, though.

If they have cells or whatever they'll probably just be cameos, that sucks, was hoping for Ivy, but alas

If the demand is high, Ivy would be DLC. Since Boon stated that Lobo might be DLC because he is a highly requested character, im sure that Ivy has a chance at being one also. And if the ice character of the game is captain cold, Mr. Freeze might be an alternative.

Poison Ivy and Mr Freeze would make for amazing playable characters. I really wish Batman had gotten his own fighting game bc he has more interesting characters in his roster than most of DC IMO.

Well I see some that's frosted icicles in the back ground when cyborg making his huge cannon but it's not defined enough. can cell much of any thing ivy in any of those pic's. thank for trying to show it to us though.

A superhero getting his/her own fighting game would be cool/interesting/new&fresh plus tons of potential to use characters from that hero's comics.

With a Batman game the story could simply be that villains are teaming up to destroy Gotham&kill Batman once and for all while Bruce/Bats is hiding something from his allies and so they suspect&turn on him,OR someone puts Batman in a curse to make him bad and bats fights the curse while fighting villains to stop him and fighting allies as the curse keeps controlling him,OR story is Batman&his allies against villians But players can make hero vs hero/villain vs villain in exhibition fights.

Theres already 12 characters which is half of 24. And Hector confirmed that they aren't halfway yet.

The numbers cool. I'm down with it.
Though I have to say this, since this is still connected and represents the new 52 as that youtube video pr person from the NR / wb /dc said. So we have to remember now cat women is not a "villain" and a league member now or a version of it as of the new 52 . Weather sides(which I'm sure it won't looked at in that sense of who's bad or good ) matter or not in this. Which it wont matter ether way.

I would say shes an anti-hero. Or instead of being in a black or white area, she would be in grey.

well she's never been a real villain since the golden age era ended. for a while so grey is fine. more so then an anti hero seeing that of an anti hero . cause Anti heroes are mostly people out for them selves with their own personal agendas and care nothin for that most of the time, while grey it's self these days has been more broadened and there's such a thing as complicated heroes that people seem to over look that at times have to do the grey area chose if there is no other chose or put into a spot with limited chose's other wise they'd go the traditional hero route compared to the anti hero who can't be bothered to care about that and will always choose the well the path that will have people shaking their heads at them.

I'd also call reluctant heroes different from those of the anti variety too, though there are those that generalize and make them out to be the same thing too.
