My friend told me about The Mist having Walking Dead actors in it. The movie was on the other day so I watched some of it. I saw Jeffery DeMunn who plays Dale and Laurie Holden who plays Andrea. Was there anymore?

My friend has corrected me by pointing out that Mr. Pink does get caught at the end of Reservoir Dogs. We don't see it, but background noise confirms it.

In Beauty and the Beast everyone has been transformed for 10 years, and the rose would bloom until the prince's 21st birthday, which meant he was only 11 when the Enchantress placed the curse on him.

I assumed the curse froze everyone at their pre-existing age.

I assumed that was the case for eveyone who became furniture etc but the Beast was still a living being so he must have aged. The rose was just about to die at the end of the movie so that day was his 21st birthday. 10 years had past since being cursed so he had to have been 11. Plus if he didn't age he would've been 21 when cursed and the rose would've died straight away.

Every actor that has starred on a Sci Fi/Sy Fy channel show such as Stargate or Star Trek Enterprise they end up starring in 2-3 Sy Fy movies that are aired on the weekends.

Morlocks which came on recently starred Robert Picardo and that one dude from Stargate Atlantis.

Even regular celebrity actors have starred in at least 2-3 Sy Fy movies. Kevin Sorbo starred in 3 movies that end up on Sy Fy channel. Even Lou Diamon Phillips with that weird werewolf lake tv show and Red Water and that one carnival movie about a carnival freak on the loose

Christopher Walken quotes Sleepy Hollow in The Dead Zone in 1983, and he starred in a film based on later in 1999.

Don't know the actress' name, but the one who plays Carol is the mother who leaves the store to get her kids. Greg Nicotero, who does effects work and some directing on TWD, did effects work for The Mist as well.

Same goes for The Majestic. Both are Frank Darabont films, who also brought TWD to the small screen.

Funny thing. I just rewatched Fear and loathing in las Vegas and Depp mentions Sleepy Hollow in it. I also noticed Christopher MelonI plays a gay hotel clerk in the movie too.

If my memory is correct, I think Tom Cruise doesn't fire a single gun during M:I Ghost Protocol.

Something funny that Marty says in Back To The Future when he's ready to go back to 1985 and he's going over last minute details, he says "Time circuits on, flux capacitor....fluxing"

Mock if old or already noted by someone else around the boards, but it seems that an integral part of The Dark Knight Rises plot is lifted from The World Is Not Enough, only with three times the characters, three times the stuff going, etc.

SPOILERS FOR BOTH MOVIES
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

In both movies we have this villian, a bald guy, with a pain related injury (Bane in constant pain keep at bay with his mask and Renard with a bullet in his head that prevents him from feeling a thing) who seems ruthless and unstoppable. Only to find out later on that said baddie is doing everything for a female that is the actual mastermind behind the curtains (Talia in TDKR and Elektra in TWINE). Said female serves as a love interest for the hero and takes advantage of the trust and affair with the hero only to betray him later on and expose her plan to him.

Both movies involve the detonation of a nuclear device that would destroy a City (Gotham and Istanbul). And finally, this is probably pushing it but in both movies the hero sustains injuries from the beginig through out the end of the films (Batman and his crippled leg, Bond and his injured shoulder).

Interesting. I'd forgotten about the injured shoulder subplot. I heard recently that Skyfall marks the first time Bond has actually been shot onscreen. It's a little weird that TWINE didn't just do that if they wanted to give him a handicap. Maybe that was the original idea but the producers nixed it.

Goddamn, that's crazy.

AND Nolan's a huge Bond fan.

AND Skyfall lifted a lot of things from The Dark Knight.

My head hurts at the notion of Nolan not doing a Bond film yet.

Sitting here watching the old Jaime Foxx movie Booty Call and totally noticed Amanda Tapping from SG1 and Sanctuary as a surgeon. That was pretty random lol
