Toby Jones already heavily implied that we'd be seeing Robot body Zola.

When?
Not doubting you, or complaining at all --- I'd just like to see some confirmation that Zola-Bot will show up in the movie.

I don't know the link, but I do remember reading an interview where he implied something along the lines of robot-ness.

Here's the quote from Jones and the link:
Quote:
"All I can say about it is that I was pleased to be brought back," he told us. "I thought I might be--because you'd know better than I do--but Zola finds a way to defeat time and you won't be disappointed with the way that's been treated in the film, that's what I would say."

That quote doesn't necessarily mean traditional face-in-chest killer robot, though. They could update the concept of "android," as I mentioned earlier; or Toby's implication could simply be that Zola has become a disembodied AI, which is exactly what he is in the comics....so for all we know, Zola could just be like Wintermute in Neuromancer.

It's interesting to note that you can clearly see the tracking dots on the arm where they'll add the CGI in post.

yeah, you can see them is almost every shot. The latest pic is clearly the "stunt arm" though.. I'm curious how many versions of the arm they built. Early imagines showed an arm that had less gap if any gap between the upper and lower parts, and the detail was more pronounced.

Given that the gap is at the joint, I'd imagine that the gap is there for practicality, so that the actor/stunt man can bend the arm and that they'll CG that in later.

In short, I dont think there'll be much of a gap when its all said and done.

No, "Winter is coming" is better.

But it isnt:-

As I said, it's pretty evident that the mask is pressing down on the bridge of his nose. That must smart a bit after a full days shoot.

That's entirely plausible, but I'm gonna choose to believe that he'll look like his comic counterpart hahaha. The easter egg in TFA gives me hope.

And you're probably right. Given that Winter Soldier is very comic-book accurate (except for an added balaclava), as is the "Agent Rogers" uniform, and the Ultimate Falcon costume (assuming the CGI wings will look "accurate," too), it's probably a safe bet that the Brothers Russo will make sure that Crossbones, Batroc, Arnim Zola and Sharon Carter all look authentic as well.

Spoiler:

I went to watch the filming for about 90 minutes or so today. More chase sequence on the bridge including a car flipping over. Also got some crap video of what looked to be a normal henchman shooting at Cap. He was using the handheld gatling gun ala Jesse Ventura in Predator and standing on top of a car. Cap then jumps on the hood and hits him with the shield. Saw Scarlett Johanson get dropped off as well. She grabbed a coffee and disappeared into a building. I spotted her on the bridge as I was leaving.

I think the arm with less of a gap and thus less mobility will be used for walking shots, the arm with more gaps is going to be used for the fight scenes. I really hope the first time he throws a punch with the bionic arm they zoom in, in slow mo so we can see the mechanics working as he punches.

Can they even use that though, since it's so closely associated with Game of Thrones?

I keep thinking it would be brilliant for this movie too, but not sure if Marvel can use it to promote this project.

Those WS pics look awesome! I can't believe how closely they matched the WS design to the comics. It's like he walked right out of the pages. Looks like he's also going to give Cap a hell of a good fight.
