Freeze's backstory with the wife and such is one of the reasons I really love the character. Very tragic. B:TAS did a lot of good things that were later intergrated into the comics, Freezes backstory being one of the best IMO. There may still come a day when we get to see Victor Fries on the big screen again. Hopefully if it happens, they can write him and his plight a little better than they did in B&R.

A scene like that would've been so awesome though.

I kinda wish we would of got more closure on the Joker in TDKR. I realize it was a sensitive subject but a simple ''We made sure people like the Joker never got another shot at Gotham.'' from Gordon to show the police took care of him after the events of TDK would of been good.

There's plenty of little things that come to mind but the big one is: Remove Talia. She under-cut Bane and was bland as hell.

The final battle between Batman and Bane looked pretty fake. No actual punches and you could tell they had put them in with a background of the other fighters.

It's far from pointless. There are some insightful posters around here and at the end of the day, this place is basically about speculating and throwing around various ideas. It sometimes leads to some genuinely fascinating discussions.

Not everyone finds the movie 100% perfection like you do.
Shocking I know.

The only thing missing from TDKR is an extended shot of Batman gliding through the air like he did in the two movies that came before. Maybe during the final showdown they shouldve had batman glide down from the Batlobster to confront Bane instead of him appearing from the smokey crowd.
I loved seeing Batman glide in Begins, scaring the piss out of the escapees in the Narrows. I loved seeing him glide through China right before his apprehention of Lao. It was one of my favorite things about Nolans movies, Batman gliding through the air like a badass. It would have been great to see him gliding around Gotham one last time. The Batlobster is cool and all, and it serves an important purpose so i like it, but you really got the sense that he was Batman when he was gliding through the skies |

If there wasn't a necessary point to show Batman glide in the air, then it's best to not show it, imo.

It wasn't necessary to show Batman randomly standing on a bridge either before he went to meet Catwoman, but they threw it in anyway.

Come on, the Joker, Batman brooding on top of some structure always has a point.

LOL, he didn't look like he was brooding. He was just standing there cape flapping in the wind.

Actually it did as it played with this theme of Batman watching over Gotham City in BB right before daylight, watching over Gotham in TDK at night and then in TDKR before nighttime.

He was not watching over Gotham, he was standing on a BRIDGE on his way to meet Catwoman to find Bane. It was a non essential money shot thrown in as a cool visual. Nothing more.

Standing on a bridge that's overlooking Gotham isn't watching over Gotham?

That's right. Batman is always on high buildings and structures. It doesn't mean he's watching over Gotham. What is he expecting to see standing on that bridge, Bane taking a swim in the water below lol?
It was a cool visual shot. That's all.

The same can be asked for BB and TDK. What is he gonna see in either of those moments when he's standing above Gotham? But there is an overlaying element to those moments and how he's at different times during the trilogy.

In Rises, he's on his way to meet Catwoman to find Bane, and decides to randomly stop to stand on a bridge and admire the view. It was a cool money shot. That's all. If that kind of thing can be put in, then so could a gliding shot.
