Now yes, they are doing like they did with Rhys and they aren't officially announcing his character yet but he is confirmed as being a part of the cast.

I want them Peter, Gwen, Harry, and MJ to be in college.

The way I envision it, Peter and Gwen will still be together, happily and Peter will now be working at the Bugle as taking pictures of himself as Spidey and/or as the their webmaster (depends on which route they take).

Gwen is offered an opportunity to study abroad in London. She accepts and leaves Peter behind (though he will be reluctantly supportive, probably because he knows its best after what he promised her father). This leaves their relationship somewhat strained.

While Gwen is away, He meets Harry who introduces him to MJ and brings him back under the watchful eye of Oscorp.

Seems like a good idea. I didn't want Gwen to die in this one. Perhaps her moving so Peter can meet Gwen is a good idea. Although... I did want to see at least one MJ- Gwen interaction scene.

Remember the scene where Peter and Gwen go and meet Harry, MJ and Flash. That would be good to see onscreen. When Peter starts getting attention from other people is when this classic moment is:
