The script for Avengers didn't change at all after the leak.

After the film came out, people who had read the script from the leak said it was the same, word for word.

I hope it's not going to be in the case for a majority of the movie

If Robocop had that suit very close to the original, wouldn't people just ***** about them not having any original ideas of their own, once again?
Yes. Gotta love it.

I might be confusing the modes...but we've seen SWAT mode, and heard about Social Mode...might that new suit be the Battle Mode we've heard about?

It's more likely a drone robot that OCP (or OmniCorp as it is now) produces, maybe for police training or something.

I'm also doubting it's one of the robo suits because the mouth part isn't open.

Not sure how people think it's anything but a drone after watching the licensing video. Thanks for the extra confirmation though.

When you make a movie like this or any studio wanting a blockbuster it's dumb and nieve to have a goal like that. The goal should be to make a good movie. If they pushed the film back because of fans dislike of the suit to think to had blood is so bad.

But a studio could cause less about a films final product as long as the toys sell well and the movie has fan base. Mgm doesn't want the dark knight they want transformers.

I've known from day from the second they wanted to make anew robocop movie the problem is the rating. The smart thing is to make it right with gore a true "death of alex murphy" but it won't and if the do it will be for the blu ray to try and build up the whole "what was to scary for theaters" tv spot.

It's how promoting movies work mgm wants a film series not a good movie that's why jose may be having problems making the film he wants.

My case is just that to say we can't make money cause were rated r is just crazy. You can sell toys you can have kids watch the film on the hopes their parents say **** it i wanted robocop as a kid it didn't **** me up.

I just hate the watered down girly non violent vagina "can't shut a kid can you fuxker" robocop. It's just a shame the idea of pg-13 action it's not what the 80s wanted !!!
what?

Probably the only way the movie would be equal in blood and gore would be if "LionsGate" studio were behind the movie.

Ofcourse the movie would probably be forgettable like "Punisher Warzone"

^I'm thinking the same, although I'm one who likes War Zone

I'm looking forward to a sample of this new RoboCop in action, I hope they don't damage this one as much as the other one got damaged in past films

Damn, it's a shame that's not what we got. I think their final helmet design is somewhat better (colour notwithstanding), but the rest of this just steps all over the armour they went with.

Yeah he was beat to hell in the first one. I attributed most of that to how slow he was which isn't the case this time around. The leaked video states "he can run faster than any human, he doesn't miss a shot, he's a one-man navy seal team."

i think lot of pathos and good drama came from the fact that robocop was so vulnerable in the first one.
he wasn't just some super robot, he was a product who was at the mercy of the corporation. if they packed enough firepower, they can still destroy him. it makes for a good story.

Yeah, I have the same feelings towards the concept art. It looks really good.

I still wanna know what the actual suit will look like on film, though.

Funny enough, that concept art looks way more futuristic than the stuff we got

How forgettable was it when it's the movie that pops into your head for examples of blood and gore?

Odd choice by the costume designer to mount the DPD patch on a Blackhawk Serpa holster chest panel...

Yet another design oddity in this movie...

I take it that you've never had to wear a chest mounted sidearm in your line of work? Sticks out like the balls on a bulldog to me mate

Yup yup. I'm not a fan of the 99% black suit, but given that most police officers and special units wear mostly black, I can fully understand why they decided not to go with the more nostalgic feel of a mostly silver suit.

and this is why, to me, it's visually dull and boring, at least the suit anyways... nothing sets it apart from everything else. it looks exactly the same.
