Meee too. Especially with Diggle's role being what it is. It's like they're scared they won't get another a season so they're tossing in as many ideas as possible. I don't think he'll become Speedy this season, though, so maybe he's just being set up.

I just hope we don't loose a character, especially Digs for him.

I don't think he will be fighting crime this season or even find out about his secret identity. I think that will happen the 3rd season. They are probably setting him up to be Thea's love interest (she needs one) and will probably go the whole drug/alcohol problem route.

Would you guys rather they refer to him as Speedy, Arsenal, or Red Arrow?
(Though I'm sure he will never be called that on the show lol)

Hahaha talk about force feeding the subject lol. If I didn't know any better I would think that the creators of this show directly read this forum. We were just talking about Ollie getting his name and then they spoon feed it in the first 5 mins of the show wtf lol.

Every time we bring up a subject it is covered the next week on the show.

That's what I was thinking lol. Well that covers that. He now has his name lol.

I think he will be called Green Arrow by the end of the episode. He'll realize he has to have a name and he chooses that. Or at least be called Arrow.

I agree. What better way to differentiate oneself from another archer than by having a name lol.

The show is already called Arrow, so hopefully he'll eventually get the full name. I thought the Police Captain who was at the dinner might have picked it up and should have used the name during the press release.

I think his enemies will continue to call him that and it'll hit the press and he won't have a choice but to stick with it. I definitely don't see him saying "I'm Green Arrow!" and headbutting people any time soon.

It would be cool if the Archer suddenly starts to call him Green Arrow and then Oliver remembers how Merlyn came up with it.

I agree. And it actually deepens the animosity between the two, given that Tommy is Ollie's best friend.

I have to say I'm getting really annoyed with Thea. You can't please that b**ch. You try to do something nice and she'll still manage to bring you down. Also, I just can't see teenage girls acting stupid. Because frankly I just want to smack them across the face, because they won't listen anyway.

Yeah, she set them up, but she tried her best to actually avoid such an outcome. With Walter, she managed to probably have him contained somewhere for the next 6 months.

Yeah I kind've laughed then got annoyed a bit. He doesn't like being called "The Hood guy" but thought "Green Arrow" was lame? C'mon. -_- It would've been better if Ollie smirked at that and said it sounded a little better. SOMETHING other than LAME.
