Indeed. 2012 was a fantastic year and Les Mis really showed how determined she is when it comes to playing characters. Seeing her cry when discussing Selina, saying she misses her, was another example of the deep connection she makes. Totally deserved awards.

Not to be disrespectful to Newmar but i always roll my eyes up when somebody says how TDKR was so long. It's 2 hours and 45 minutes. And it doesn't drag either. People need to watch more movies maybe. Most of the greats are "epics". Do people only watch 2 hour movies or something?

As for Newmar, it's cool that she liked Anne. But i mean, im not surprised by her comments. The people of that era, Adam West included, don't seem to know anything about the actual characters. So all she has to say is that she's gorgeous. Well obviously any actress who is cast for Catwoman is going to be good looking so why even comment on that? It's the movie business. Duh. How about saying "She made for a great Selina Kyle, blah blah". Probably cuz they dont know who Selina Kyle is. They play them goofy so they think the characters just about being sexy or something.

I dont know, it just bugs me lol. At least with Keaton, he knows the character, so he gives you good answers.

Maybe not for you. But you're not the litmus test for everyone who watched it. There's 2 hour movies that can drag.

Keaton never says anything all that insightful either... He's never seen any of Nolan's Bat-movies.

Lol, always cracks me up how Keaton seems to have such a resistance to sitting through a Batman movie. He claims he hasn't even seen all of Returns (which I figure can't be true, due to the premiere). Strange cat that Keaton, but gotta love guy.

Most stars don't actually watch the movie at the premiere... Alot of them try and avoid it if they can.

Keaton has a deep love for Batman 1989. He sounds very proud of it based on the recent podcast he did. But beyond that his interest fades fast.

That's not true. He said he's watched Returns once;

It was quite the cast with Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito and everyone. It wasn’t as satisfying to me when I saw it, but maybe that’s because the bar was set so high on the first one. I think I only watched it one time.

Yeah, I thought that was the case. But I was confused because, he contradicted that recently in the WTF podcast he did.

“The guy who’s doing them now, Chris Nolan, he’s so talented, it’s crazy. [Christian Bale] is so talented. It’s so good.” he enthused. “But I say that like I’ve seen them, and I actually haven’t. I didn’t even see much of the second one that I did.”

That's what I mean, he's just kinda flaky about it. I figure he's probably seen it once and has forgotten a lot about it.

I always laugh that on Letterman when promoting the movie he claimed, ''It's much, much better than the other one. It's good...''

However he then goes on to state, ''I like doing it, but it's kind of like being the host of the party, which frankly as I'm doing it, it's relatively dull. Tim throws a great party. He's got the house, but he doesn't want to host it so he calls me and we invite a bunch of people over, open the refrigerator and say go nuts. But If I could be reading it while doing it...''... which to me indicates a strong lacks of interest. He enjoyed woeking with Tim and the cast again but whatever passion he had for the character he had in the first one was gone.

So yeah flip flopping is right.
