I've got heartfire but haven't really played with it for too long because i started a new character.

I was hoping to get Dragonborn sometimes before christmas, but it looks like the PC players will have to wait until early next year..*sigh*

Anyway, i was looking through all the comments from the Dragonborn DLC on youtube, and it's amusing to see the mostly positive....and funny reactions from fans! Alot of the comments were along the lines of; "i'm going with Lydia and Serana to kick this impostor's ass! who's with me?'

It's nice to see how the fans seems to really gets into it, it seems the idea of your Dragonborn going against another...and seemingly evil Dragonborn was good move from Bthesda.

That said, i guess i would be the only one that WISH that this would be the final DLC from Skyrim and it ends like the original ending of FO3-without broken steel- with your character dies at the end...heh

And it would end like how Fallout NV ended...with slideshows and narrations, showing these various characters that your character encountered...your companions, friends, wife, children...

Would be a fitting end for the Dragonborn saga in my opinion..

in that case, i'm asking for help in changing the clothes of followers- if possible. i know i've asked this in the past, but i've never gotten a straight-forward answer on this, and if the PC users can do this, it has to be possible on the xbox

I don't think you can. I know you can change their armor if you give them something better than what they've got.

Hmm...you might be able to change their clothes if you enchant the clothes you want to give them. I have no idea if that will actually work or not, it's just an idea.

Those are mods. They arent available on console versions of the game.

granted for the PC, but i have read reports of others who own the Xbox version who have done this successfully... i've been doing a little research on it, and the only way one can change the clothes of a follower is if your follower is your wife... i'll put this description here, from gamefaqs.com...

"You can but only for a wife that is a follower. What you do is take her clothes when she's following you but LEAVE AT LEAST ONE of her INITIAL GEAR PIECE on (eg. boot). Then give her the clothe you want her to wear. This will not only make her wear the clothe you want her to wear, but it also prevent her initial gear from reappearing once you leave the cell (changing location)."

dont know if this works or not, so I'll give it a try and see if it works

Two questions for those who have played Dragonborn:

1) Is the factor's estate that you build in Morrowind (or at least some variation of it) still there?

2) Are there God forsaken spiders in Slostheim?

Dragonborn only goes to Slostheim, not Morrowind, IIRC.

So I'm a few hours more in and I can safely say that this all seems very good so far.

New landmass, new enemies (that includes flaming spiders), and so far I've been able to keep Serana with me which has been a plus (since her caster complements my melee character).

Slostheim is where the Factor's Estate was built.

According to the wiki, the JUMPING FLAME SPIDER "...will follow the user or leap at an enemy, exploding at the end of their leap."

At this point Matt, I think Bethesda are just taking the piss.

Is there anything new with Serana? new comments from her etc?

Have you encountered possible companions?

There was a merc I could have hired.

No new comments from Serana.

Just finished the main questline, took me about 5-7 hours, wandering around now and doing side quests.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

I was hoping the Black Book quests would free me of Hermaeus Mora but that doesn't seem to be the case.

How big is the new area?

Any new loots, monsters, enemies worth mentioning?

I finally saw the Headless Horseman yesterday and almost crapped my pants in excitement. Followed him all across Skyrim as he led me to........a place I'd been a billion times already.

But, hey, it had a chest, I guess.

The area's decently sized but its not huge by any means. I could probably run from one end to other in 15-25 mins depending on terrain, but they litter it with enough stuff to do that it feels populated.

A lot of the enemies are new, the returning enemies that show up in the largest number are Draugr and the Dwarven automotons.

New armor sets and the like, I'm not a big gear person so I haven't paid too much attention to that.

There's also a new plane of Oblivion to explore that looks very very awesome.
