Being locked up for multiple films is like the norm now for potential franchise movies so not that surprising.

I'm so apprehensive about a JLA movie, I feel Warner is rushing it.

I don't think it's as rushed as people think end of the day the script is complete and evidently very good. Therefore all they have to do is shoot the thing.

Yep
Right now focus on Superman, worry about JLA later.

Cavill being signed on for multiple Superman films isn't news. Its common sense and common practice.

And when Routh and Bale were signed, their three film deal had the option of a teamup film as one of those films.

In Cavill's case, it looks like Justice League.

Snyder calling this a spoiler makes me think that he's aware of a plan for JL involving his Superman.

Films that Justice League has been less "rushed" than:

Batman Begins (about the same)
Man of Steel
Iron Man
The Incredible Hulk
Thor
Captain America
The Avengers
The Amazing Spider-Man

The movie has been in development for a year almost already, and won't be due to film for a long while yet. Just because they announced it post-Avengers doesn't mean it is rushed, it means they want to build hype after a wildly successful film of a similar nature. They did the same thing for Man of Steel.

Batman Begins had Nolan. And the other examples on that list are a different studio.

Warner Bros has a history of screwing up these studio-driven projects (See: Green Lantern).

Justice League will be a massive, massive gamble.

I want a shared universe dammit!!! That is just so cool to me...the individual Marvel films that lead up to The Avengers was great...I want to see something like that except have Man of Steel kick off Justice League and then spin off separate movie from that

I want a shared universe because two actors playing these characters on film at the same time is stupid. WB is going to make a JL film either way, so I vote for the least annoying option.

Justice League and Man of Steel are just as big a gamble as Batman Begins was. As for projects at different studios, The Lord of the Rings (Warner subsidiary) didn't undergo development as a trilogy until July 1998, filming began October 1999. Just over a year to develop the entire 12 hour series. Justice League can get by with 3 years for a 2 1/2 hour film.

Studios make good films, they make bad films. WB will have hopefully learned their lesson, just like Fox and Sony did with the X-Men and Spider-Man franchises respectively.

Not only that. He had the greatest and most convincing Clark-to-Superman transformation. His body language totally changed, his hair, his voice would drop a few octaves. The way he walked, talked, and expressed were different.

Just skimmed through RETURNS, i watched all the interesting parts, which means i got done in 30 mins LOL.
Watching it, i'm just so glad WARNER is starting fresh. Returns felt like a not as good remake of the first film and hell some of the lines between sup and Lois were almost the same.
Speaking of, i really hope Cavill and Adams have chemistry.

Lmao! I used to do and say the same thing.

And just like some of you guys I watched STM yesterday and just really appreciated what they brought the big screen. I can only imagine how the audience must have reacted when they sat in that theather for the first time back in 1978. I tried to watch it with that in mind watching superman's take offs... It was awesome all over again.
