On the subject of Spider-man been more pour than Superman yes he is, in pretty sure for merchandise aswell Spider-man is ahead of the rest. The one thing I will say though is Supernan is the most well known the S symbol is the most recognised symbol of any comic property.

Sorry, but Man of Steel will almost certainly have a higher box office than the most recent Spider-man. There was a time with Spider-man was extremely popular, but the last two movies have taken the popularity downward.

You can't say MOS will have a higher BO than the most recent SM cause we just don't know. MOS may still have to deal with the bad taste of its previous entry just as Spider-man did.

Maybe once the (crazy!) trailer comes out we will have a better idea as to the general public's thoughts on MOS,and how hyped they are to see it,I do actually think it will do massive numbers at the box office,what with IMAX,3D and just a gut feeling that it will be immense,and be received well by non fans.

Unadjusted, S-M3 is the highest grosser in the franchise. And I expect that WB would be enormously pleased if MOS just matched the more “meager” earnings of TASM ($752M).

I was slightly disappointed with the Amazing Spider-Man,they could have took a bit more care and made a far better film,saying that,on the whole I really liked it,and I'm hoping the sequel will be better,but all the Spidey fans have got to admit that MOS is starting to look like it is going to be rather special,and imo will more than likely be better received by the critics and have bigger box office numbers than ASM,the cast is getting more impressive to me as time goes on,even without any footage lol.

I have no doubt MOS will be the better movie (for the record I loved ASM) but part if that is definitely my bias towards Superman but what I've seen so far, the cast, Nolan and Goyer's involvement and Snyder directing the gig I am very very confident Man of Steel will be the greatest of all CBM movies.

The Comic Con footage did do that too, it's funny my brother loved the MOS teaser and I was like here watch the Con footage n he was blown away too lol.

All I know is that I want the trailer to develop a little more all the secondary characters.

I would like to see and listen some lines from Amy Adams andLaurence Fishbourne, see how beautiful Diane Lane still is, see sth of that great actor called Michael Shannon...

I don´t know, get a general look of the world they built!
