I know ! I really liked that, it was an interesting story change. I would love for the current state of Newspapers and Journalism to be touched if not in this film, in later films.

It wasn't even the cheap leathery look of the cape, or the washed out colors, for me it was that small ass shield on his chest.

Maybe Yahoo using the manip might compel Warner to release a proper new picture of Cavs as Superman, earlier than the release of the "reward" and trailer.

yeah.......you put the MOS shield side by side with the SR shield, and there really is no comparison, regardless of how much more "faithful" and "traditional" the SR suit was.

I like the design of both shields actually...but I prefer the MOS shield by far. It's pretty damn big and the way the "S" looks is amazing

Same.

Had the SR shield been bigger, about the size of the MOS shield, and the reds a light tone it would've been a perfect suit IMO.

oh, yeah, it's amazing what a few tweaks to the SR costume could do. I've seen it in some fan manips.

The material was still terrible, the seams made it look cheap. The blue color was too light and cartoonish. The boots were a horrible, clunky mess. And the \S/ on the belt? Who thought that was a good idea? They basically got nothing right with that suit.

I've noticed the same thing...I just hope it doesn't jump back down to 27% overnight!

Yeah. They really took too many unnecessary liberties with the suit.

Anyways, I can't wait to see the suit on film. We've seen Cavill in suit but I can't wait to see him on film, cape and all.

On another note. Watching TDKR I really like how Lucious Fox knows exactly who Bruce Wayne is and they don't play around the subject and just become close collaborators. I wonder if we'll see the same sorta relationship in MOS between Clark and Lawrence Fishbournes Perry White. Whether Perry will have the same "If they ask, I don't have to lie, but don't think of me as an idiot" sorta deal as Lucious. Being a smart seasoned veteran reporter it would make sense that he would see through Clarks disguise. I wonder whether the same will be true for Lois Lane. Whether those 3 are the main focus at the Daily Planet and are all in on the secret identity, working together to solve stuff.

I hope nobody knows his secret identity...they need to be clueless

It might be a 'realistic' compromise though. I kinda like in TDK and TDKR that his secret identity kinda becomes irrelevant. It keeps getting thrown around like it could be fully exposed at any second (Coleman Reese in TDK, and Bane just knowing in TDKR) but it almost doesn't seem to matter with the higher stakes around.

Regarding the realism and the new angle, I hope more will know of Clark's secret, but mainly in Smallville, like in For All Seasons.

I wouldnt mind if Perry found out relatively early on and Lois somewhat later, but that she definitely finds out. I dont think I could stand seeing Adams playing a completely oblivious super-reporter for long.
