Well Kelsey Grammar as Beast is definitely one of the bright spots of X3.

I hope we get more casting announcements this month. It was a no-brainer that Hugh Jackman will be included in this movie.

Right there with you buddy. He was fantastic, and will likely forever be confined to a crappy film.

I think it's highly unlikely Grammar would be back against so many other popular characters, especially when a younger Beast is among the cast already and could easily appear in both timelines with altered make-up.

You never know though...

I would so love Kelsey's Beast and Ben Foster's Angel to be back, in the future setting.

Beast could be the inventor of the time-travel technology. It would be a better option than Forge!

True. And i like the idea of seeing both the alt timeline X-Men and their 60's counterparts.

As much as I would like to see Forge in a movie, I agree.

Why not Beast & Forge together?

Singer could do wonders with both Beast and Angel.

sadly, this doesnt seem to be the moment.

maybe on a possible X4. time will tell, I guess

I think It Is unlikely any cast members not cast by Singer for X-Men and X2 or Matthew Vaughn for first class will be In film.Plus I doudt they want to call attention to fact there are different looking beasts In Last Stand and First Class.

Yeah, I could see not wanting to draw attention to the different looks. Would need a progressive mutation type excuse.

I may be wrong but didnt Vaughn cast Grammer in X3? If he doesnt fit the story in any way it would make sense, but I wouldnt think Singer would stay away from using him just cause he was in X3 and didnt cast Grammer himself. Im sure hes aware most fans and audiences liked his portrayal.

You're right. Vauhn did cast grammar as well as casting vinnie Jones. And even if he didn't I also believe Bryan wouldn't refrain from bringing an actor back because he didn't cast them himself.

People loved Kelsey's beast and if he is not in the movie it is because he was not important to the script not because he didn't cast him.

The differing make-up may be a problem but then again it could be explained in the film.

I would think he would at least be brought up in some form in the future scenes. Would be odd to fully ignore him.

Kelsey Grammer Beast with proper makeup would be great. I'll pass on Ben Foster Angel. Character was very wimpy and the actor was miscast in my opinion.

I totally forgot about that. That movie was full of horrid writing so I wouldn't put the blame on Sideshow Bob... err I mean Beast. Wolverine is out of character the WHOLE movie.

I actually would rather have Forge than Beast. We all know FC Beast was into creating high-tech gadgets and machines but X3 Beast totally showed nothing of that.

And I want Ben Foster's Angel to be back too. He was a bit useless in X3 but if Bryan Singer gave him a good cameo role in DOFP, there's a chance that he could be a great addition to the X-Men movie series.

as much as I love Angel and Ben Foster, I think this is not the right moment.

If Fox has plans for a X4, Bryan could give him a really good arc, and let him shine. A scene or two between him and Kurt could be something beautiful I think, and really simbolic.

At the same time, Angel should share one scene with Rogue talking about accepting theirself after the cure days.

They could do many things with all these characters.... but Days of future past doesnt seem to spend many time creating intimate moments between characters. but who knows, maybe Bryan and Kinberg find some moments for that

I agree! I call for a recast! Angel should be handsome, kind but with the potential to be downright terrifying:

Zack is handsome and all of that, but he isnt Warren Worthington. No thanks. hehe

And since I love Ben Foster as an actor, I dont have any problem with him as Angel. yeah, he isnt comic Angel, but dont care. Id love to see him again playing an more mature Angel and sharing scenes with our loved x-men.

many people has named him like a solid choice

and none can deny he isng handsome.... but you know, at least me preffer Ben Foster ten more times than a "hot" actor with less talent.

Ben Foster is a really really good actor. If you've seen Six Feet Under or even Freak and Geeks, you'd see he's a true talent. He was given garbage to work with in X3, his look was wrong, the lines were meh, he had no real role. He could be real good...

some of his recent movies where he has an amazing presence are:

Alpha Dog
3:10 to Yuma

Watch those two movies, and you all will see the true potential of this actor.

I loved Six feet under, his role was really different from these two movies or X3.

I really wanna see 3:10 to Yuma especially now considering the director for Wolverine. I saw bits and pieces of it. But yeah, Ben Foster ftw! Give him some longer hair and dye his face blue too!
