Giants would get the 6th seed. If Dallas loses this week and then beats Washington next week. Then the Giants would win the East and the Bears would get the 6th seed.

Simple. He's leading the Colts into the playoffs. RG3 and the Redskins will probably miss the mark.

The NFC is too stacked right now for the Redskins to sneak into the playoffs.

If the Redskins win their next 2 games they're in the playoffs no matter what. All they have to do is beat the Eagles and Dallas. That's it.

No "sneaking" required.

The Giants, Bears and Vikings have to pray other teams lose for a spot. Winning their next 2 doesn't guarantee them a spot.

Maybe the Viking automatically get into the play offs if they win out but that seems very unlikely.

They have the toughest remaining schedule of any team.

The way Adrian Peterson is running, I'd really re-assess that statement. The Cowboys are also playing clutch football right now, and The Eagles are improving.

There's no guarantee that the Redskins win out these next two weeks.

Nothing is guaranteed but the Redskins are one of the teams who control their own fate. We win out and we make the playoffs. The Giants and Bears can't say the same.

and our schedule is far less difficult than the Vikings. I mean the Eagles are at the very bottom of the NFC. The Cowboys are a real threat but we know we can beat them. We did so during week 12. The Vikings go against a couple of the best teams in the NFL. They're the long shot, along with the Bear and Giants, not the Redskins.

I just wonder how good the Redskins could have been, had it not been for that ridiculous salary cap penalty.

If it's overturned next year, I wonder how the league will make up for the $18 million they missed out on this year.

You won't be facing the Cowboys in week 12 though. That's the point. Romo is heating up and Dallas' D is ranked in the top five. And while the Eagles are at the bottom of the NFC, so is the Redskins' D. To put it simply, Washington is going to need some luck fending off The Eagles and Cowboys.

I wouldn't sleep on The Vikings either. Peterson appears unstoppable at the moment and Houston has already locked up home field advantage.

The Redskins D has played well but they've been playing on a wing and prayer. It's not gonna hold up in my opinion. Washington has no pass rush and marginal to average pass coverage.

We'll see but the Redskins are gonna need Dallas to be **** when they face off in Week 17. And that's assuming Kirk and the Redskins aren't overlooking the Eagles.
