Makes me laugh how Stark, Pym, Banner, Richards, McCoy and T'Challa are geniuses in every scientific field these days as well.

I like it when they have some problem and ask each other for help. It shows they don't know everything.

I guess Jocasta would count as a female genius as well, then. Her personality's based on the Wasp, but she's got a computer for a brain, making her easily smarter than most humans.

Speaking of. Who else is looking forward to the Pym, Jacosta, Janet, Tigra meeting?

And speaking of Janet, anyone mind filling me in on where she was/how she got back during her absence?

She shrunk down to the Microverse. She got back when a handful of Avengers shrunk themselves down to rescue her b/c her distress signal went off.

Avengers was amazing. Like perfect. Exactly what I hoped it to be. Ad I'm actually excited another issue will be out in just 2 weeks.

Agreed, Hickman nailed it.

I'm not much of a single issue buyer these days but I'll keep getting Avengers and pick up NA too as long as he brings it like this (and the art, oh the art )

Hickman is definitely setting up something big with this first issue. Opena's art is fantastic, rivaling Ribic's art in Thor for my favorite of the new creative teams.

Yknow, the one thing about Hickman's writing style that has always struck me as strange, is the way he kind of pushes major events in the issue kind of into the background.

Like I literally didnt realize
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
bombs had gone off around the world
until like a third of the way through the issue, when its actually mentioned in the first few pages.

And, I dunno, generally I'm not that retarded when reading books, but Hickman always seems to slip things in that I miss.

Are the villains in #1 new? I really liked them. Both character design and motivation.

Is there a roster for this team listed anywhere so I can read up on the members I don't know?

Avengers was very, very good. I'm still skeptical of Hickman because of his tendency of drawing things out too much but it's great to have this book back in my pull list.

He didn't draw anything out too long in Ultimates.

The Avengers #1 was a great start and I love the tease at NA

If Cap has a bad dream about the illuminati which he is member of instead of a major villain u know that's bad news. I can't wait for New Avengers

I don't care about anything Ultimate related so I wouldn't know.
