In all honesty I enjoyed Civil War, World War Hulk, Secret Invasion, and Siege. My biggest complaint is event fatigue and the fact that there no longer is a status quo. It's the same thing for the X-Men.

Captain America being in command of the US' Avengers-affiliated superhumans and the reconstituted SHIELD has been the status quo since Siege, which was like 4 years ago now. That's pretty consistent.

Is he still in charge of those things though? I thought since Marvel NOW he was back to just regular ol' Captain America.

No. Why would he have gone back to just being Captain America? He's got Hill running SHIELD, but he still outranks her, and he lets each superhero team operate autonomously, but he's still legally in command of all of them. He just hasn't been brooding in an office worrying about how to restore the heroes' public image after Osborn's crap as much anymore because it's already restored. People in the Marvel universe love their heroes again, for the most part.

I can't recall anything where it's been stated that he wasn't. Nick Fury technically restarted SHIELD in Secret Warriors and gave Daisy Johnson the reins, but as of Marvel NOW it appears that Hill is the director again. Whether that was intentional or someone along the way mistook Daisy for Maria, who can say? Either seems about as likely as the other given Marvel's editorial 'prowess.'

I'm digging most of the stuff from Marvel NOW. I get all the issues every week since it started and I'm enjoying just about all of them

The Dark Angel Saga was outstanding. The final part was one of the most beautifully drawn comics I'd seen in a while.

I'd probably rank it in my top 5 X-Men stories of all time, top 10 Comic stories. I'm real eager to see the loose sequel to it in Uncanny Avengers in a couple months.

I've only read 1 issue (probaby equivilent to two in American comics), and I'm already getting emotional. Wolverine's "Apocalypse" alter-ego has just appeared.

It's gonna get more emotional after that It's fantastic writing be Remender, but yea, he wasn't kidding when he said there would be consequences to everything X-Force has done.

Psylocke's character made a significant leap forward during her time with Remender on X-Force, especially during that arc.

Betsy's character makes leaps from that point straight on through the end. There wasn't really a stop for her.

Im just hoping the new writer on X-Force doesn't ruin that. I'm not totally convinced by her actions in the first issue. Gives me a bad feeling they might be taking her down a dark path.

How can you afford that?!

I'm thinking about trying out Uncanny Avengers, Indestructible Hulk, and Fantastic Four in addition to the stuff I'm already getting (Avengers, Superior, All New X-Men, New Avengers, Savage Wolverine, Thor:God of Thunder, and I think I'm missing something...) and I hope to get UXM and GotG when they release...but my goodness its hard for me to keep getting more while not dropping anything!

In a way I don't regret when I bring the comics home and open them up.

Indestructible Hulk has been good and Yu's art's been fantastic. Another artist is coming in though that I'm not a fan of. Most people seem to like him though... forget his name. He's classic.

Uncanny Avengers has been a good story but a bit lulled due to art delays. The second arc coming up soon looks amazing.

I found it odd Uncanny only had three issues out, my local comic book store usually has several copies of the first and second issues. I hope that same store has #1 of Indestructible Hulk as I had to get the reprint first issue of All New X-Men...I started late...
