Peter would be going to jail since Miles is still like a freshman in high school

But Miles was only like 2-3 years younger than Ultimate Peter, most likely, so maybe 616 Miles is only 2-3 years younger than 616 Peter.
Why am I trying to justify Spider-Man on Spider-Man slash fiction?

At the end of the Spider-Men mini... when 616 Peter gets back home... he googles Miles Morales, and there's a stunned look on his face... it ends like that, and nobody has picked up on it since.
Miles has been established as being 13 or 14 years old... Peter Parker is probably 28 or 29... assuming that he's been Spider-Man for about 14 years... (despite what Bendis wrote in Alias #1).

I never got around to reading Ghost Rider (beyond the first issue), Fantastic Four, or Unlimited. World of Tomorrow is good in hindsight, though I always hated how Metalhead was so out of character, and that Skullfire was simply missing from the plot. I'd probably hate it if I read it now. Manifest Destiny sucked.Honestly, though I was a huge X-Men 2099 fan... my favorite 2099 issue was the Apocalypse oneshot that was an aftermath of One Nation Under Doom. Loved that issue.

Did anyone read Nova?
I thought it was amazing by Loeb's recent standards, but decent by normal standards. But then again, I don't know much about Nova so I'm not aware of any bastardizing that might have occurred.

I thought it was lower-tier mediocre with promise to get better. It felt fairly cliche to me and the mention of Rocket and Gamora being members of the Guardians of the Galaxy 17 years ago was just absurd. The Guardians weren't even in existence until maybe 2 years ago Marvel time... maybe.
I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with it or not.

I thought it was pretty cliche as well. The drunk dad, high school bullies, small town thing isn't very original. The principal looked like principal strickland from Back To The Future.
I also though the time frame didn't match up in regards to the Guardians. I don't think it was bad it was ok for a first issue.

Does this like, take place in the future then? Cuz the Guardians JUST formed. Like, after the second Annihilation mini. Cuz the originals are from the far future, and neither of them were in that group......this makes no sense. EXPLAIN!

Yeah Nova was bad. It's not just how unoriginal it was, but the lack of Loeb putting any type of personality on the cliches was what really hurt it. Not sure if I'll stick with it either. Marvel is releasing way too many comics that deserve my attention to stick with Nova if it's going to be that mediocre from now on. I'll just stick with Guardians and Thanos Rising for my cosmic titles I suppose.

His dad is a drunk who tells "stories" of his days in the Nova Corps, though no one believes him. In the opening scene, his dad is telling a story of how he and two other Novas rescued Gamora and Rocket, naming them as members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The time period of that story was "seventeen years ago." Yeah, makes no sense.

New Ms Marvel crossover. Think I'll give it a try. What's the series been like so far?

I assumed that he meant that Rocket and Gamora would be Gaurdians of the Galaxy. Like...when people reminisce about Captain America in WWII, they still think of him as an Avenger. Even if he wasn't yet.

Hmm... that's possible. I'll have to reread that part to see if it reads right. I hope so.

He had written that the story of Amazing Fantasy #15 happened 15 years ago... at that time.... which would have placed Peter as being 30 years old...

Which sounds about right if you ask me, though I picture him a tad older than 30. I know Marvel probably doesn't agree but that age seems to fit him.

Ive been thinking about trying out Captain Marvel. And I think I have decided to drop several 3.99 titles after their first five or six issues(and look at getting trades for future issues) so I can actually buy some stuff outside of Marvel...
