Maybe they're going to kill off 52 useless characters

make it kind of the anti-New-52

You can certainly always count on Marvel to kill people to push sales
lol

Maybe they're creating 52 new books set in a New 52 Marvel Universe, which comes out of Age of Ultron... while simultaneously keeping their main books going in the main 616. That way they can come out with even more books (potentially double-shipping them all) and make even MORE money! And of course, they can't actually afford to print all those books so the price of them all will have to go up to $4.99 each (plus a free digital code and a reprint).

I'm kidding... mostly.

I think Marvel is trying to state that ALL their books will be on time 52 weeks of the year.... that's why you can COUNT on Marvel... and it's also a little dig @ DC's new 52.

I will at least have to check out this Wolverine book, and definitely planning on getting Sandman. That series was probably the best comic book work I have ever read.

Why does Marvel think its funny to jab DC (playfully, of course) but DC never really jabs back?

It's kinda reminiscent of a kid in school who wants really hard to be noticed at lunch, but the other kids just ignore him and go back to eating their lunches.

Considering how poorly the Wolverine books have been selling ever since Marvel decided to publish multiple Wolverine ongoings, I don't get why Marvel keeps thinking that Wolverine can sell more than one ongoing.

Is anyone reading Captain Marvel and can recommend a couple issues? They're mostly one-and-dones, right? I wanna pick up one or two. Just wondering if anyone liked any issues specifically.

I'm pumped for the artist, not the character.

I think since Marvel is in the business of ripping off popular movie and tv properties the new 52 Wolverine books will be take offs of that.

Game of Wolverines
Wolverine and the Chamber of Secrets
Top Claw
Wolverine based on the novel Push by Sapphire
Life of Logan
Slashing Bad
