About making Brock muscular or a regular guy depends on the route they are taking

In the comics he was a depressed man and look his frustation out gyming and such,hence he was a muscular guy
If they dont go that route,there isnt a reason to make him Bane-type muscular,just average/slightly above average built and be taller than Spider-man or atleast the same height

I think we actually both agree on something here. I don't understand why being a photographer cancels out the possibility of working out? Why would his profession even be relevant, Spiderdevil?

Hell, I have a dumb desk job but I still work out.

Plus, if anything, if Eddie Brock ever had this desperate backstory, working out could be this outlet for Eddie. Without the symbiote, Eddie could have this rage within him that he vents out through exercising and with the symbiote, he now has power that only amplifies this rage which is perfect for the symbiote itself.

I heard he gained something like 6-8 kilos of muscle or something.He looked huge when he became the Venom so I dont see where is the problem

What I meant is,Eddy in the comics had a thing for gyms and worked out which is why he was huge even pre-venom,I dont see whats wrong if a version of Eddy Brock does not work out and is normal looking.Its different from Bane since he is supposed to have a built

Thats bacisically his story from the comics

Raimi didnt portray him like that so imo it was fine him not being too much muscular.There was actually no time for his back story in SM3

Audiences want the 616 Venom. That means a backstory that covers years of disappointment leading to insanity. That means an actor who physically makes Peter look like a kid. That means the slobber, the tongue, and referring to himself as "we".

Any actor who looks like he could still be in high school, ala Blowpher, need not apply. Eddie is a big, scary man (190lbs is NOT big) who became a big,scary monster. That's what we want.

How do we know there will be another trilogy? That would mean comic book adaptations would have to sustain their current popularity for many years to come. Even with a character as popular as Spidey, that isn't a given.
