Also Kingpin wasn't really done justice in Daredevil, not because of the change of the color of his skin I had no problem with that at all, but more because of the way he was written and his short screen time.
When I was a kid, I used to think fat Brando would have made a great Kingpin

That would dream casting if Spider-man was done in the 80s. I would cast Michael J Fox as Peter Parker.



I don't know if I said this before , but Keanu Reeves is a decent actor.

Add Jack Lemon as Uncle Ben and Spielberg as the director and you have an instant classic.

I agree Brando would have been a great Kingpin. He was only 5' 9" or 5' 10", but as Apocalypse Now demonstrated, his talent and charisma could make him look like a giant.

I agree. I thought he made a great villain in "the Gift." Maybe he could pull off Dr. Strange, but I don't know if he could rock that 'stache though
Anyway, I like him and hope to see him in more films in the future.

Really good underrated actor imo. I thought he was better than everyone else in Expendables 2. He was also really good in Ringo Lam's "Replicant", where he plays 2 very different characters, as well as a few other films he was in.
I have to admit that "Double Team" is a guilty pleasure of mine as well

Have you seen The Quest? It's great! Not only was he the main character, but he wrote and directed it. He also wrote Legionnaire which was really cool too. Jean Claude should write movies more often.

Acting wise, he's great in JCVD although it's a friggin' weird movie.

Yeah, it has a script and Reeves has talked a decent amount about it. May end up in development hell, but there seems to be a good amount of potential movement to it.

I agree. I believe some of his acting in earlier films were laughable but they were all very enjoyable (Kickboxer, Bloodsport etc.)

But movies like Timecop, and one of his latest movies I watched Assassination Games, I thought his performance was very good. I will forever be a Van Damme fan. I agree underated actor. I just wish he could get back to the Box Office and out of the straight to DVD deal. Which I hope Expendable 2 will help him with that.
