SR wasnt a reboot. it was a continuation of the already established donner superman and lex universe.
It used alot of the same lines, had no origin, had lois with a kid that was conceived in SII. Kitty even said to lex in the FOS, ''you act like you've been here before''. he just smiled at that. as for as B.O. 530 to 600 mill WW. could be more or less. depends on how hard WB hits the marketing for it.

Yeah, before I was guessing between $600 to $700, but I think $500 is way more reasonable.

I LOVED Iron Man , liked IM2 but was disappointed. Loved the Avengers. I agree that i am sick of Iron Man a little, but i loved the trailer for IM3. BEN KINSLEY !!!
I think IM 3 or Hunger Games will be the biggest grossing film of 2013, leaning towards hunger games though. |

Iron Man was well done, the second one was a misfire to me, but the 3rd one looks really good in my opinion.

Maybe....maybe not.
This is the box office prediction thread, isn't it? There are some numbers to look at on that arbitrary list for fans to speculate....that sample is taken from the front page of Yahoo, not from a comicbook website. The pool is much more general public driven. You've really added nothing here...There's no disputing that.

Honestly, I find the poll to be the encouraging thing in that article considering the number of votes involved. That said, it's still meaningless, since you never know how many of those votes are just multi-votes from bored fans, lol.

I agree, though IM2's trailers looked excellent, too. Then the movie came out and it was fairly average.

I am fairly certain that The Man of Steel is a movie with only two outcomes. Either it fails miserably or it will do massively well at the BO over a Bill. Now all we need really is a runaway ad machine to cement in the mind of the audience and fans that the movie is a new and exciting take on The Man of Steel
