that action in Pacific Rim didn't look particularly well done. Clunky and cliche trailer. Pretty disappointed, I thought we'd get more from that. Looked like the same universe as real steel.

I'm mUCh more excited for the Godzilla reboot than PR. I will still go see PR if I have time though.

I want Del Torro to succeed. He seems like what many of us would be if we were in his position and PRim is a great concept.

ILM is on that picture right? The shaky visuals should be polished come release time.

I like how that shot lets Superman get almost completely out of frame, then races to catch up with him in the vault. It's much more interesting than following him the whole way with one steady pan.

Some would argue that that is a product of the new age shaky, don't let the audience see every god damn thing every second approach to action.

At first I thought this scene was a result of military missile fire. But Superman is too tough for that, this is def due to that brawl in plano.

I just saw it. Eh, it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. Is it somewhat underwhelming? Yeah. I kinda expected more. Am I worried? Nah. Del Toro isn't Bay.

Random thought here.....For those of us who have seen the ComiCon trailer, do you believe that the scene in the trailer when young Clark asks "What was I supposed to do....let them die?" is right before the CC trailer scene in which "Pa" Kent tells young Clark "It's not from this world, Clark....an neither are you"? They are both wearing the same clothes as that scene in the CC trailer. I'm thinking that right after young Clark asks that question, Jonathan takes him down to the basement (or wherever they are storing the ship), young Clark unveils the ship and that's where he finds out about who he is and where he's from. What do you all think?

That has been discussed here as a possibility. That Jonathan will then explain to him why it's so important that Clark keep his powers a secret. And that's when he shows Clark the ship.
